Avery gets a bad rap. He had 12 fights last year, and he played well in the playoffs. He stands up for his teammates, including a teammate (Eric Christensen)who crushed him in the media.

Put him back with Jagr. It would be awesome.

A good friend of mine is a rangers fan, and said to me last night "I bet you are keeping your fingers crossed that the flyers pick up Avery." To which I responded "I would rather wake up and find out I had herpes on my face."

I was against signing him till I read this
