Weber's beard KOs Chuck Norris in the first round of a celebrity bout to fight Hunger

Rinne goes the distance and wins the Veznia

The Predators PP is ranked in the top 10.

The Predators trade for a solid scorer near the deadline for once.

Hopin to see the brothers reunited but there's one obstacle. AK is considerably a top 6 forward and we would pretty much have to send at least a top 9 and then some to open up a roster spot.

as for my prediction
Biased officiating in the playoffs once again results in an early exit instead of an engraving and headline news

I don't think 97 pts is bold. The PP and Legwand predictions are not only bold, but would be awesome if they come true (I think Legwand actually has a pretty good shot at putting up 20+ goals this year)

I still see Wilson as our best offensive player. I think he will have a Suter type turnaround this year and become the offensive leader we've always lacked.

Bergfors scores 40 points.

Legwand has 50 points

Weber and Surer are signed by the trade deadline.

- Suter & Rinne walk at the end of the year
- Weber refuses to sign anything more than a one year deal. Poile is in denial. We lose him for nothing ala Hamhuis
- Kosistyen has a decent season, gets a long term contract, then sucks for the duration of his contract.
- Columbus finishes ahead of us.
- Mike Fisher is a really nice guy, but plays like a 3rd line center
- David Legwand never complains to media, but plays like a 3rd line center
- Kevin Klein will suck, again.
- Weber will miss 40 games to injury
- Craig Smith becomes the next Greg Classen
- We get a deadline rental scorer and he walks at the end of the year.
- We trade Radulov's rights for the deadline rental. Radulov's returns in 2012 and scores 38 goals.
- Colin Wilson bolts for the KHL at the end of the season.
- Jordin Tootoo reveals a new cologne line
- David Poile decides it's best he doesn't have a phone in his office. Call him old fashion.
- Martin Erat scores 22 goals

One you will like and one you will hate:

The one you will like: Craig Smith is in the rookie of the year debate.

The one you will not like: Lidstrom retires at the end of the year and Suter signs with the Red Wings in the off season.

Is that last one what you're hoping for selfishly, or a true prediction?

Well my selfish hope is that Lidstrom never retires. However, if he does after this year and Nashville has money issues in resigning Suter I could see the Wings as one of the more likely destinations for Suter if he does not resign.

The Predators shouldn't have any money issues in signing Suter, though. We're about 5 million below our CURRENT year budget. Trotz was on "coffee with the coach" this morning, and reiterated that the intent remains signing all three, and thinks that it's not only possible, but likely.

Also reiterated that the issue was never money with Weber, but Weber wanting to make sure the organization would continue to be committed to winning (IE: not going to sign him to big money then wave good bye to suter and rinne)

I think Suter would definitely talk to Detroit if he decides to test free agency. With that said, I think all three of them will have contracts ranging from 5 (Rinne) to 7 (Suter) years. Hell, we haven't even spent the Lombardi money. If Smith is in the ROTY discussion we may not have to go find another forward.

The boards will explode in a rage of 1,000 suns when Poile trades for a big defenseman at the trade deadline leaving Parise in NJ.
