Yup and probably won't be back till around mid - Late October, so that'll give management more time to evaluate players and who to send down, trade or let go back to Russia.

Or this being the Habs we'll have someone on defence injured by then.

Mid-late October?? Change October for November and I will be in agreement. Mid October is in ten days sir, and he is not even practicing with the team.
It's really sad that we have to make a choice between Yemelin, Weber and Diaz. Weber's versatility could be great for the team. Diaz has been getting better and better every match he played, and he looked great alongside SPACEK, of all people (not that I think Spacek is half as bad as a lot of people here seem to think). And I'd really like Yemelin to be given a fair look before he's let go. You know he's never coming back if he leaves this way. Those guys have big upsides, in my opinion. I want all three of them to do good.
Oh yeah, and to stay on topic: too bad for Engqvist. I'm happier with Betts though. To be fair, he didn't look that bad in camp.
Are Louis LeBlanc, Olivier Fortier, Hunter Bishop and Brendon Nash all injured? I'm trying to compile active rosters for all teams and these four were never assigned to the AHL but don't seem to be factors in making Montreal's roster. Any help?

We don't hear much about Leblanc's injury these days. Before training camp he was all pump up with his recovery, saying he wanted to play with Hamilton, etc.... now one month later, *crickets*

It was a shoulder injury. He wasn't expected to be back practising until now.
Andrew Conboy hasn't been sent down and I think he's still up with a concussion, no ?

Leblanc is in the same boat as Eller, they both went under the knife days apart for the same injury. Both have been skating but need to be cleared for contact, which appears to be a week or so away at least in the case of Eller, which unless Leblanc has had a setback, he shouldn't be far behind.

Fine, the kid hasnt been solid enough to deserve that fourth line center spot and Im not sure what his future looks like now.. Personally Im not his biggest fan, wouldnt be surprised if he quits for Europe next year..
