Rangers finish 2nd to Pittsburgh in the division, 5 points behind them, and lose to them in the Conference Finals.

Rangers board starts to hate Crosby even more.

Dubinsky with 60+ points.
McDonagh ends up with 30 points.
Lundqvist finally gets to 40 wins.

Do you know how good we would be if all of those things happened?

So your bold prediction is really that Christensen is going to continue to suck? That's not very bold. You can do better.

These seem to make the most sense except I don't think Lundqvist will play enough to win 40 games.

MDZ secures a spot on the blue line for the entire season.

Staal plays less than 50 games.

Richards "struggles" in his first season as a Ranger and only scores 70 points.

Sauer and McDonagh further solidify themselves as studs.

This team outperforms previous ones in the regular season and still lays an egg in the post season.
I like all of these prediction except Duby getting to 30 goals(25-28 perhaps).

My bold predictions for the season are:

-Staal misses the first 10 games conservatively and the remaining d-men pick up the slack.
-Anni gets 55 pts and D-Step 50 pts
-Zucc gets 17/25 for 42 pts
-Rangers finish with the 6 seed and win a 1st round match up with the Flyers.

bold prediction

NYR have a top 5 ranked powerplay and a top 10 defense without Marc Staal in the lineup

Lundqvist wins the Vezina
Gabby plays 68 games with 42+ goals
Richards does well
Rangers finish 4th in the conference( also all teams in division except Isles make the playoffs.)
Stepan has a massive slump but steps up in gabbys place after he's hurt.
Staal comes back later in the season and helps us into the conference semi's and past that hopefully.

If and I say If Marc Staal doesn't miss a large amount of time then the New York Rangers will win the Atlantic Division

Staal's prolonged absence/young leaky defense catalyzes a slow start, but the team is saved from total disaster by improved pp and Hart-caliber play by the King. Fan and media whining about Sean "3 goals" Avery becomes unbearable. Richards/Gaborik lack of Instant perfect chemistry also catalyzes massive fan panic.

Team becomes healthy, matures, and gels in about Feburary, going on a winning streak that carries them into the playoffs. Strong play continues throughout playoffs and team reaches conference finals only to lose nasty, heartbreaking series against Pens.

Lundquist wins first Vezina and gets Hart consideration.

Isles icing first half-decent team in many years, who also happens to be very dirty, re-ignites rivalry in a huge way.

This sounds a little too plausible.

I know it is unlikely, but I have always had a weird gut feeling that Zach would end up a blueshirt as well. I will leave it to the cap gurus to see if it is realistic this season or at all.

i really dont see how on earth this is humanly possible...the devils just wouldnt trade him within the division unless its MASSIVE overpayment...like, Cally, Staal, Kreider, A first,+++ etc.
