NHL 2009 Draft

I was wondering, what do you guys think about the Habs picking Louis Leblanc instead of Jordan Caron. Leblanc is still at least 2 years from being with the big club, while Jordan Caron is making the starting roster of the Boston Bruins. He already played last year and seems really promising. If we could redo the draft, will you guys still pick Leblanc over Caron, and who will produce more points in their career?

It was a good/great/popular pick. Leblanc will be very good. We're good for now, we can wait for him.

it's also not about points. Leblanc is a smart player. I like that.

Wayyyy too early.. Both are good picks, Leblanc seems to be the most complete player of the 2 while Caron is a pure goal scorer.. Leblanc reminds me of P.Bergeron while Caron looks more like a Ryder type of player..

Fastest player into the NHL doesn't mean best NHL player.

I'd still take Leblanc. I think he brings more of what the Habs need.

Caron is a good player and all, but I think he was projected to be a late 1st early 2nd.

Montreal could have drafted Phillipe Paradis...

If Caron was born a couple months sooner and he would have been an 08 draftee. If by next year Leblanc doesn't look better I'll worry a little bit.

I don't know and no one does. Let's wait and see, too early to tell.

No, I would've picked Chris Kreider or Jacob Josefson.

That's like saying pouliot is better than price or subban because he entered league faster.
