Chara usually has Jagr tied down quite nicely, so i am expecting nothing from Jagr tonight. An assist possibly but i have feeling Chara will be all over Jagr's big ass. Of all the teams, i always hated seeing Jagr play against Boston. Rangers used to sneak Jagr in when Chara would just get off the ice and that worked well.

Then there's this:

I don't think Boston will be respecting Jagr's ability that much to be honest.

I'm expecting a big game from the JVR-Giroux-Jagr line.

Pronger vs Chara is also interesting.

Well that is what i was hoping for but his huge offseason has a huge spotlight on him. I heard that the Boston coach is not concerned with Jagr, but i doubt that. We shall see. If Chara doesn't play against the jagr line that would be beef supreme.

LOL who is steno chara? Is that Chara's long lost retarded cousin?

Wish you guys and your team a great season!

I like this team and picked them to... well, I won't jinx it. I missed the part where JVR was good to go but happy to see he's in the line-up. Was a little disappointed in Schenn the couple pre-season games I saw him but still hope to see him centering the 3rd line. Not sure Couts is ready but if he were to stay and Schenn to return, will that push Hartnell on the 4th line? I hope Read will be kept on the top 9.

Good luck for tonight!

Bryzgalov quote from the preseason (Rangers' series) “It seems like there's going to be lots of murders.”

I'm very excited about this team. Is it true that the Bruins ordered like 500 stanley cup rings? Anywho, I'll be posting more this season, took a little break last year. Go Flyers!

IMO the most important thing tonight, win or lose, is a strong performance from Bryzgalov. I really don't want a goalie controversy after one game. Also, to think that this is the first time since I've started watching hockey (1993-ish) that we FINALLY have a bonafide starting goaltender in his prime is just ridiculous. I am so glad that the goaltending question has been answered (hopefully). Having said that, let's get a win and LET'S GO FLYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a bad feeling about tonight. Essentially a new team with a lot of youth and not much time together versus the Cup winners...prove me wrong, Flyers!
