Hooray for hockey!

On a side note - all this banter about them raising their banner tonight is kind of comical - saw some Bruins' fans on twitter talking cr@p about how we supposedly aren't going to watch them do the banner tonight...a great reply was that the Flyers could handle watching the cup get lifted by the blackhawks in Philly - so true.

Either way, go Captain Warmth and Flyers!!!

And, I have to do it - you all doubted and mocked me last year about the Richards/Carter lockerroom issue...so TOLD YA SO!

I wasn't aware those issues were ever proven.

I hope Talbot's first goal as a Flyer will be as classic as his first ever NHL goal

Not that I'm betting on him to score in this game, but still. Maybe if they put their Finnish goalie in net?

And that's why they call him ****tymaki!

Seriously though I would love to still have him as a backup. Bob is a better goalie, but I loved Niitty. I wonder if he will dominate Winnipeg the way he did Atlanta?

Read clinches the Calder tonight with a fourty three goal effort, and an assist on a Lilja break away goal in the opening seconds of the first

I think that is a bit optimistic. He's always had a bit of trouble facing Chara. 500-550 or so will do for tonight I think.

No, no, he'll send his ***** out to do the dirty work. It wasn't Tonya Harding who beat up Nancy Kerrigan (or was it the other way around?), it was the husband, wasn't it?

Crosby won't be suspended anyway.

Walker not playing tonight. Paul said “He wanted to do some other stuff" and again later that he's “working on some other stuff”.

WOOHOO!!! Go Flyers!!!

Not sure how I feel about the new, streamlined thread. It looks good, but I'm used to the longer ones! MSE, I assume you still have your encyclopedia thread's saved, right???

Do you feel better now? It is a new season. Can we try to just move on now?

Thanks

Was hoping to see him tonight. His grit may be needed. The bruins always seem to play with a stronger attitude at home. Lets jump on these suckers right off the bat and silence the crowd.

Do we have any high quality streams? Everyone in Scandinavia is locked out from watching legally.

you guys ready to see Jagr's "kardashian" like ass in action?!?!?

Quote:
He still has that fabulous Kardashian rump, is able to protect the puck and play the game at a waltz tempo, and his Hall of Fame vision probably remains 20-20.

It's almost as if they are telling people to go look up (more or less) illegal sites.
