Ak disappoints me year after year. I hope this year can be different, but he's still the one I find most likely.

I presumed you meant "disappointing" so I voted AK.

This guy manage to score 20 goals while being absent 95 % of the time, he could do so much more if he was trying just a little.

I don't expect this to change this year.

This is why I voted DD. I don't think he'll prove to be a second line center any time soon.

Lower your expectations about AK if he disappoints you so much.

I say Markov because I just can't see him being at 100% for many games this year.

2nd line center? never..he's horrible on D, other players go through him like he's not there. He's ok in the offensive zone, but he's a 3rd line center on a weak team.

Gomez can't be more disappointing than last year
Kost, we're used to be disappointed
Desharnais, I don't expect much

Erik Cole gets my vote. Mainly because too much is expected from him. He doesn't have Eric Staal beside him anymore, so I expect a big drop in points

Can we pick more than one? After tonight's game, I'd say half the team.

I'm more disappointed in the fact that there are fans that think Desharnais would ever amount to anything worthwhile.

That list should lead with Gomez or Kostitsyn or J. Martin

I'd go with JM for this... Why did we acquire Cole? To play him on the 3rd line and give him 4th line minutes? Amazing...

Darche was on the PP over Cole... Like really?

Gomez, once again.

I don't get that Desharnais gets so many votes. How can people be "disapointed" at a guy who's never been drafted & plays with heart each game. Yeah he showed some good things last year but he's never going to be Marty St-Louis, just doesn't have his speed. Better keep expectations low

Errrr, if people are disapointed in Desharnais it's precisely because they DON'T keep expectations low.

I voted DD due to peoples ridiculous expectations as well. He isn't the next St. Louis.

Desharnais because it disappoints me that he is given golden opportunities despite not earning them and then botching them.

Wouldn't that be nice. Expressing concern or doubt is one thing but do we really need whole threads on the topic?

Pretty hard to keep expectations low when every person you run into says he's the second coming of Marty St. Louis bro. I never had any serious expectations but I guess I'm comparing it to the overall hype rather than my personal expectation, thus far in preseason and the 1 game he hasn't even come close to living up to that hype.

1/4 threads is about pessimism on this forum.

3/4 that aren't get brought down by the pessimism.

I'm not saying I haven't ever been pessimistic but it's rather regarding injuries and not so much the actual team and management. Injuries are usually a serious concern for us and I'm just sick of having half a team and struggling to keep a playoff spot. For once I wish the stars would just align.
