yes... as you can see on that replay, Joseph clearly thought that the puck was coming to him and was done... Jovo going into him had nothing to do with him being able to move into Cooke's shot... he would have never gotten that shot whether Jovo was there or not.
Joseph was already sliding back into his net at this point. There is no dispute there... Jovo didn't push him into his net to interfere with him being able to stop that shot... Joseph was in no position - Jovo or not - to stop the Cooke rebound.
That's why there was no interference... that's why this was never in dispute in the game... that's why Gretzky never complained about it... and why the official never even looked at interference.
