Anyone else feel like he's having a hard time adjusting/facing facts to being with the Wild. "Just got traded from San Jose to lead a charge with the Wild." Seems like he misses SJ.

Wouldn't be surprised. He grew up a Sharks fan, was drafted by his favorite team, and had just re-signed.
Nothing against the wild, but I wouldn't be surprised if it takes him a bit to adjust.

I am sure he is more than a little shell shocked. Hopefully he fits in with the locker room and the snow doesn't get him down too much.
Not to be cliche but he has a tremendous opportunity ahead of him, hopefully he realizes that and decides to take of advantage of the it.
Yeah, i feel kinda bad for him. his situation is exactly why some players who might otherwise not want to look like dicks request a NMC/NTC in their contracts. At the same time it would suck if he was resentful towards us for taking advantage of that when it's fully understandable that we would. I'd bear a little resentment toward the Sharks if I were in his skates--I'd know it was business, but that still doesn't make you feel great about it. Would be insane if we met the Sharks in the playoffs (#1 vs. #8 I'd imagine )
I know Seto loved living in the South Bay... his best friend is still a Shark (Torrey Mitchell)... and the organization is top notch. He was a fan favorite in terms of personality and the effort he put out on the ice (even if his production was inconsistant). I couldn't imagine being in his shoes- just inking a deal and having that high that the team that drafted me wants to keep me for 3 more years and then all the sudden he's traded away.
I am glad Wild fans have embraced he and Heater like you have (at least from what I have read here and on Hockey Wilderness on SBN)... I will sorely miss both. I wish them nothing but the best. Except for those 4 games against San Jose.
He completely got screwed. He got traded from a Stanley cup contending team, in a beautiful part of California, who he just signed with to a team in fly over country (not without its own beauty of course), to a team who nobody cares about.
But he has one hell of an opportunity here. He was getting squeezed out in San Jose. Here he will be given all the opportunity in the world to get back to that 30 goal form here. Plus he gets to play with one of his best buds from his old team.
Given time he'll be fine. I just hope the team gets off to a good start so the X will fill up and he will have a crowd to play for. Motivation will be key for him i think.
