Yeah this. I'm not actually concerned, it's just frustrating. Team isn't in sync, lots of bobbled passes and passes to where teammates aren't, etc. Seeing as how this is very similar to last years team, I think it'll come together relatively soon, but it sucks to start the season this way.
Also, Tortorella better not permanently break up Gaborik and Richards this early
I'm not at all happy with the way we played today. We flat out ****ing sucked today. At least Richie and McD were able to grab us the OT point. We come back with 2 points out of 4, essentially .500. I'm satisfied with out point total, not even close to satisfied with our play.

Completely agree. Both teams looked very slow and created low quality scoring chances. Just glad this team will get a week of rest so we can really see what they're all about.
Having Lundqvist is a double edged sword, because they don't try to win in OT, they wait to win in the shootout
This team NEEDS to learn how to win in OT, it's ridiculous. It bit us in the ass in the playoffs big time last year and, surprise surprise, it's bitten us in the ass here early
Is it really that difficult to realize that people saying crap like "season's over" is a heat of the moment thing? The team played like crap, uninspired in every facet except goaltending, and people are upset. Posts saying "chill" are just as worthless to the discussion.
I'm happy with 2 points out of 4. The team flat out ****ing sucked today and I am not happy one bit about it. 2 points out of 4, basically going 1 and 1. I was happy with getting 2 out of 4 points and that's what we got. I'm satisfied with our points, not at all satisfied with our play, it was god awful. Zucc was so close to snatching the victory for us....

The defense played top notch hockey. McDonagh, Sauer, Girardi and MDZ all looked solid today. Erixon and Eminger were pretty bad, left Cogliano all alone to let Lundqvist hanging out to dry.
And we'll know that our PK will be top notch this year.
Sure there are negatives, but a lot of positives can also be made from this game.
