They should bring Mike Keane back home with them after the WPG game. He'd be perfect to take over Muller's old motivation role. Wake some snoozy arse's up!

Fail for Nail!

Why do I have the feeling this will be a disastrous season?

The only thing I can say is they better be ready. If Desharnais gets more Ice time than Cole again, then Coach Martin is nuts!

Winnipeg is going to be so fired up, were going to have to hope that the players have been doing some partying the last 72 hours on those streets. They're getting personal messages from Icons like Neil Young!!!!

The Habs are pretty much going to have to walk into Winnipeg, like the storm-troopers in Poland.

6-5 Habs in the 3rd.

Both teams will trade off opportunities all night.

Jets will not lose this game, fans and players will be in playoff mode. I just hope we get 1 goal

If the Jets are in playoff mode, then we'll win in a walk.

How about we win in shootout after you make a comeback from 3-0? Would that be exciting ennough to warrant a 1st home opener?

Apparently I'm the only one who thinks the Habs will win tommorow. The crowd isn't playing the game so the atmosphere is irrelevant. You're basically saying MTL should win every home game then.

It was a shot at the fact that the Jets/Coyotes/Thrashers all have abysmal playoff histories.

But I welcome your 'told you so's if that brings you happiness. I'd rather have faith in my team winning and suffer the humiliation of a loss than expect the worst and revel in it if I'm right.

Habs win 3-2.

If we somehow obtain the first overall pick, there is no way we would pass on Galchenyuk.
Anyways, there is no reason we should lose this game.

this one will be tough for us, their first game in 15 yrs. that place will be crazy. What ever happens, happens but I won t be shocked if we lose. The deck is stacked against us. Let s see how the team looks like when it gets back home.

Wait a sec, these are the Thrashers we're playing tomorrow night, right? Who gives a crap if fans will be going nuts. Remember how Montreal wandeed into Boston and won the first two playoff games? Didn't Boston have fans at those games?

If rabid fans were all it took to win hockey games, Montreal would go 41-0 at home every year.

It's the Thrasher-Jets people. Relax. Chill out.

Even the very weak expansion team Ottawa Senators won against the Habs in 1992 in their opening game at home....
