Let's see here. PP time means when someone on our team shoots, everyone stops and watches. We have no one moving their feet on the PP, except for the guy whom the puck is being cycled to. We can't be this transparent in our PP setup...

It looked better than last year. We at least controlled the puck long enough to shoot.

Agree, but when it is the same play over and over again, goalies will key in on that, and unless players on the opposite pipe are moving their feet, Doan has no chance for a shot-pass to prevent a player from cheating to that side.
Our PP needs to consist of more than:
1. Get puck to Whitney on half-wall
2. Make cross-ice pass to Doan for one-timer
3. If #2 can't happen, cycle to point, and wait until #1 can happen again...
You guys realize we look like an AHL team right? But hey, we have a lot of veterans and defensive players, so we're GOLDEN!
Sometimes you have to hit bottom to force change. If we are able to keep the team, this might be the best thing. We'll shed most of these guys and have a bunch of cash to upgrade the talent as well as a high pick that hopefully we won't F-up.
While it has only been a period and a half, I think it is clear we need a center, an offensive center to be specific, so we can move Korpi back to the wing where he belongs. Smith is doing ok, last two goals were meh, the fourth could have been stopped. We are icing a few guys that don't belong in the NHL tonight and our lack of offensive talent is being rudely exposed.
