Winnipeg gets the Jets, Montreal gets free wings.

Great games from Pleks, Price, Weber, Moen. Diaz and Emelin were good too, for the most part.

Spacek took a hit awkwardly in the boards, straight to his ribs, possibly broken? Not sure.

Cammy got above his knee cut by Weber's skate. Apparently will be out for 2 weeks according to CBC. Hoping they're right since it looked worse, I thought it'd be longer.

Price was unreal
Plek was thugged out
Emelin and Diaz played GREAT
of course Le Jeune Vebaire
and even Travis "Golden Hands" Moen chipped in

all in all a great game, and it was awesome to see the WPG fans enthusiasm after the dead crowd we saw in Toronto the other day

Honourable mentions to Diaz and Emelin, despite a couple of mistakes for each, they have really really adapted well to the NHL game. Sure am glad that PG brought them over, imagine our team without them right now?
Solid game from all of our young D.

Subban, Weber, Diaz, Emelin.

With some additional progression and confidence these guys can all make their impact on this team.

I don't think they'd care as much. For the first season, I think they're pretty much high on having their team back. So they won't care if they end last, imo. But next season, I think they'll expect more. Actually, I think it's safe to say, they expect their team what ever they can do. But they should be pretty high this season.

Cherry says Price is the best goalie in the world right now.
I did not expect that.

Your schtick is already getting old.

I am sure JM has a much better grasp on who is suited for that role better.

Love that Jets fans cheered after the loss.
But if they are real Canadian hockey fans, they'll start booing after three losses.

Greatest news of this game? Diaz, Weber and Emelin. Fun game to see them play and if it can give Weber the confidence he needs, that's a big plus. Good game boys. You just bought yourself in an incredible reception at the Bell Centre.

Only way they scored on Price was by falling on him and ripping his helmet off. Then that same poofter got owned by Weber later.

Good game. On to the next one. Let's hope we can play around the injuries until the bodies come back. Looked good, let's continue it.

Most trolls will go into hiding until Thursday, the few will try to find something to whine about from this game.

Don has a 'checkered' past when it comes to the Habs.

Yeah I thought it would have been goalie interference, but oh well.

Seeing Weber outbattle a guy twice his size was awesome.

Think the 3 losses thing is more of a Canadiens thing....if they were Leafs fans it would take about 5 seasons of not making the playoffs before the boos would start.
