i'm just saying... that's silly.

we're discussing team building and what leads to winning in this thread... that is something that isn't necessarily a hockey only discussion, nor is it a hockey coach only discussion.

so i responded explaining why your statment would be incorrect because i am a flyers fan, i was just posting on someone elses name....the reason why you might ask??? well...he was using my laptop the otherday....he is 6-9 360 lbs, thus the name MASSIVEHABS...kinda funny huh? maybe not to u, maybe you were confused as to why a habs fan was reading up on the Flyers, i dont know, but i tried to explain it too you and u took it out of context, but to me its kinda funny. anyway the point isnt whether or not you believe me, and its not whether or not u think im implying that i am threatening because i stated my friends size in relativity to his screen name, the point is that we talk about what i originally posted this thread as per request of me, the thread starter. And that is for people of this board to talk about the Flyers and Westpoint. U wann talk about football to make a point, then fine...make your point, and then lets talk about west point. if u want to talk about x NFL coach is better than y NFL coach, then go to an NFL thread to talk about it. thats all, thank you.

thank you... that made me laugh. it's called a "thread" for a reason... starts somewhere and goes somewhere. are you really pulling a "it's my thread talk about what i want to talk about" card?

Atleast the Army had sense enough to NOT give Therien a real gun.

Since when did Therien ever hit something he was aiming for anyhow?

Note: I typically loathe all the Therien bashing that goes on among Flyers fahns, but that was such an easy setup.

I recall the Flyers doing the same thing about 3 years ago in Alberta. They started the season in Alberta, so they went there early and spent time in Canmore. So as far as being copy cats, I DON"T THINK SO!!! It is good thing for a team to do, it is a team sport so starting the year off with bonding is a good thing.
