Seeing Weber outbattle a guy twice his size was awesome.
Healy was right on that one on CBC, Weber just wanted it more, plain and simple. Same as DD earlier in the game vs Mr. Byfuglien ... What was nice was Weber had the confidence to let the guy know too after the play.
So who wants to bet Don Cherry will go on a rant about how we should have stopped scoring after 3 goals?
Carey Price. Mind blown.
Cherry: "Shame on you ******* in Montreal for humiliating the Jets like that. Kids... never, ever humiliate your opponent like that. Next game, they will have the right to decapitate you by shoving your head in the stanchions."
Habs looked o.k. I'm happy with the win but Jets looked like Habs during the centennial celebrations. Overwhelmed. Not a good measuring stick but take the two points gladly.
I know they are thrilled the Jets are back .. but seriously .. Antropov gets the 1st goal? Antropov will be the answer to the trivia question for eternity? That sissy? lol
Would have been much better if Ladd, Kane or even Schaefelle had got it

Was this after LJV scored his PP goal? That confidence and swagger definitely must've helped him battle along the boards. Notice he was also chirping Antropov as they were heading towards the bench.
Man that guy is awful, turnover machine. So glad he is not on my team, he treats the puck like it is a hot potato. Awful
What about Buf. I like him but man is he lazy and self absorbed. He can't figure out what position he wants to play. Gio bouncing off him was awesome........finally te refs seemed to be on our side. Rare and enjoyed.
We whine about how weak the Montreal D looks with three NHL D-men out. These guys were healthy.
Nobody says we are the weakest. And I don't get any satisfaction to compare my team to the worst. Shouldn't be about that anymore. And I believe that the D comparison some used to make was BEFORE the Spacek and even the Campoli injuries. We were then at 1 NHL d-man out....a great one, I agree.
Liked the effort overall but I feel a bit dissapointed in Eric Cole so far, I know it's only 2 games but I was hoping we would get the Carolina version of Cole and not the Edmonton one. Is he traditionally a slow starter? I hope he picks it up because I think right now he looks a little lost.
