He'll get a chance to prove his worth with Eller until Cammalleri comes back

A forward needed to be called up and Palushaj was the best(though it's not saying much) forward in the pre-season that was not a junior player.

He seems like a good kid, but I just don't see what he provides to the team. It really shows how thin we are on forward prospects in our system.

Palushaj was a big disappointment in the pre-season.

I think he would have the same reaction in a "Habs sign Datsyuk" thread

Actually he wasn't. The final two games he played were outstanding.

This. We have Kositsyn-Plekanec-Cole, Maxpac-Gomez-Gionta and Desharnais-Eller-Darche as the top 9. We did NOT need another marginal scorer for our 4th line. If grit is a such a no-no for the powerpuff franchise, atleast bring somebody who could of been usefull on the pk.

This is fine, as long as Martin puts him into a position to succeed. I would put him right up there with Cole and Plex. The way Plekanec is playing right now, he'll make almost anybody better, and i think that Palushaj is crafty guy that would fit well here. Put him on the 3rd or 4th line and its a complete waste.

Probably just a body for the 4th line if Spacek is out or Eller doesn't return for friday.

He wasn't amazing but getting 4 points in 4 games in preseason is sure as hell good enough for him to be first call up.

I would have preferred someone a little moredefensively responsible, DD got lit upwith weak defensive players.

Figured he would be the one to get called up when it was confirmed that Cammy is out for 2 weeks. No choice at this point I guess.

Brock Trotter had 2g 2a in his first game LOL. It's too bad we didn't get some more time to see how Avtsin, Palushaj and Trotter do.

Honestly, every time I see one of your posts it just makes me feel so much better about the team. Your optimism is much needed on this negative habs forum.

Palushaj is a good call up and had bad games when he was relied on to play in a defensive role. In an offensive role he is a very useful player, especially if he is used as a playmaking forward. Good and correct call up? Who else would we recall? Blunden? The guy is always behind the play. Trotter? This guy was simply useless in all facets of the game during the pre-season. Palushaj was the correct choice as a call up.

Palushaj-Plekanec-Cole

Pacioretty-Gomez-Gionta

Desharnais-Eller-Kostitsyn

Darche-Engqvist-Moen

or

Kostitsyn-Plekanec-Cole

Pacioretty-Gomez-Gionta

Desharnais-Eller-Palushaj

Darche-Engqvist-Moen

I would like to keep Darche on the 3rd line, but I dont think they would drop Desharnais or Palushaj to the 4th line.
