Rads played 10 or 11 games in Milwaukee before being called up to Nashville. Maybe that is what caused him to go back to Russia!

C-O Roussell was sent to back to junoir where he was traded to the Saint John Sea Dogs.

The team is loaded and with his addition really makes a scary team. He is exactly what they (we) needed in a stud D-man.

NHL picks on the Memorial Cup Champs team are:

Jonathan Huberdeau
Zack Phillips
Tomas Jurco
Stanislav Gailev
Stephen MacAuly
Ryan Tesink
Nathan Beaulieu
C-O Roussell
Mathieu Corbeil

How many times has he been traded?? and Why?? I really worried there is some thing wrong with him to be moved this much.

2 and this one was specifically because Nashville wanted him in this situation. His coaches are Gerard Gallant who coached Columbus a couple of years ago and Mike Kelly who was an assistant in Vancouver. The team is the defending Memorial Cup champion and just got Huberdeau back. And he goes to a team where he will play PP, PK and top 4 5 on 5 and where there should have a good run this year.

From Nashvillepredators.com:

Chase Balisy -- Nashville's sixth round pick in this summer's NHL Entry Draft, Balisy picked up five points in the NCAA's opening weekend with a three-assist game in the Season Opener on Friday and a one-goal, one-assist outing on Saturday night to lead Western Michigan to a weekend sweep of Alabama-Huntsville. The five points are tied for second in the nation after the opening weekend, just one point off the NCAA lead. Balisy assisted on the game's opening goal 33 seconds into Friday's game as WMU led from start to finish in a 7-1 win. On Saturday, Balisy scored the game's opening goal (the game-winner) 7:44 into the first period and then assisted on the game's second goal later in the first frame as the Broncos won 4-0. A product of the US National Team Development Program, Balisy scored 12 goals and 30 points during his freshman campaign in 2010-11.

Salomäki scored today 2 goals in SM-league and now leads team's goal scoring (second in points) with 5 goals. Salomäki missed three games because of an injury and has played 8 games so far (5g 1a). Salomäki's season have been a great success so far and I don't see any reason why it wouldn't continue this way. One of the most important player of his team.

Only negative things that I can game up is that he can be a bit selfish sometimes and has a little bit too much eagerness sometimes. I think his age explains a lot of those things. Positive side of the list would be much much longer and I will leave that to other day. Anyway you have a good prospect developing here who will definitely play in NHL someday.

Roussel got 5 pts (2g-3a) in his first 2 games with the St-John Sea Dogs last week-end. He was elected the third star of each game. His +/- column shows a +5. By returning him, Nashville wanted Roussel to play big minutes in all situations (PP, PK and 5 on 5) and this is exaclty what happened in COR's debut with his new team. For those who wouldn't know, the Sea Dogs are ranked #1 in the country (Canada) and are predicted to win a second consecutive Memorial Cup this season.

Atte Engren is playing in goal tonight for Milwaukee at Abbotsford. Thang is playing on a different line tonight, but he is playing!

Hellberg with his second start in a row, 5-1 win, 20 saves. Post and crossbar helped him out on three occasions.

David Elsner, who had 2 points (1g 1a) in 9 games so far, added 3 points (2g 1a) last night.

Atte Engren played in goal last night for Milwaukee. He let in 5 goals on 29 shots in a loss to Grand Rapids. Milwaukee had 39 shots on Joey McDonald, but the Griffens did outskate them for much of the game.

Jeremy Smith was in goal on Sunday. The Admirals lost for the second time in a row in Milwaukee by a 5-3 score. This time, the opponent was Texas.

The Admirals called up Ben Ryan from Cincinnati. Joel Champagne was sent to the Cyclones.

Hellberg played 40 minutes tonight, he had a really good game, came in when the score was 0-2 and helped turn it around to a 6-3 win. The one goal he allowed was a snipe by Rob Schremp on a 6 on 3 man advantage for the opposition late in the game.

The goal was filthy nice, top corner, definitely worth checking out, also many other nice goals, and don't miss Andersen's highlight reel save.

The video was nice!

Locally, Jeremy Smith played against division leader Charlotte last night in a 3-1 win. Milwaukee is now tied for the divisional lead with Charlotte at 13 points.

Ouch. I didn't see any of the game, but Ellis was a -4 in Milwaukee's 6-3 loss to Chicago tonight.

I saw the whole game. That scoresheet is BS! Chicago scored on two breakaways, 1 PPG, the even strength goal was when an Admiral had his head rammed into the end boards and couldn't get up (should have been a penalty IMO, but the refs were young), and two ENGs at the end of the game.

Connauton came out of the penalty box and intercepted a long pass for his breakaway. There should be no assists. Josi passed the puck to Chicago in the D-zone on the Longpre goal. Bartley fell down at the blueline on the Mancari breakaway and the D-men couldn't catch him. The first ENG had Smith on the ice, he was near the bench, turned around and dove back to get the puck. It went under his stick, so I guess it wasn't really an ENG, but the goal was undefended. Valentine dove for the puck on the second ENG and crashed headfirst into the net, maybe the post. No way that Ellis was responsible for more than one goal. I don't blame Smith for any of the goals scored. It was a freaky game, the kind that only happens about once a year.
