This game will be on TSN here in Canada so the Versus game will be blacked out for us Canadians.

Jagr will be fine against EC teams. Not sure it was mentioned much but Jagr was under the weather in the first 2 games as he had the flu.

Laviolette is trying to roll out all 4 lines equally early on but you can expect that the minutes will start to change.

I don't think to expect Jagr to play 20 minutes a game is too much at his age. With the minutes, the points will come.

Also everyone said that there will be a slight adjustment period for Jagr, we might be seeing it. Give him about a dozen games and Jagr will be fine.

could the special presentation be the winter classic jerseys???

has anyone noticed the similarity between the rumored quakers style jersey, and the white alternate the phantoms wore to open their season? they look pretty close, except the numbers.

That sentence as listed on the Flyers' site certainly allows the possibility. The Boston-Carolina game is to be aired on VERSUS but allow the mind to wander and perhaps the presentation is on VERSUS at 7:20? Could be premature speculation and much ado about nothing; someone on the site perhaps is simply mistaken in thinking the game is on VERSUS.

Well, simply mistaking the game for being on versus doesn't necessarily mean that there won't be a "special presentation". Perhaps the only mistake is that the game isn't on versus.

Of course, I have to work tonight when one of the only televised Flyers games in Canada is on....

As for the game itself, I think the Flyers will come out strong from the first puck drop and put in a convincing win.

Good thing it's not TSN2 though. That's how they get you to cough up more money.

The games that will be televised on TSN2 will be the ones I miss.

I have NHL Center Ice and they always black out games that our being shown on local channels.

Iam visiting my inlaws here in Chattanooga, and the VERSUS channel is airing comercials for Bruins VS Canes.....I sure wish the Flyers were on TV tonight.I will be at the mercy again of the great members we have here on this board that do a great job at supplying good stream info ! Tonights game should be a good bench mark as to where our club is early on......Go Flyers

Hey guys, just wondering whether Brayden Schenn will be playing for you this year? I had drafted him in my hockey pool (its kind of deep, 12 players with rosters of 23) and am curious as to whether I should keep him or drop him.

Burrows and Simmonds fight in the first 10 minutes. Book it.

Holmgren was asked during the game opening night and didn't set a timetable for a return. A writer, a few days ago, speculated "weeks" when asked the question and that was prior to the return of Blair Betts. Not being familiar with hockey pools, I won't make any suggestions for that topic.

NHL.com lists the Bruins-Carolina game, too.

I highly doubt Burrows would fight Simmonds.

Not sure about Canada, but in the US the first two weeks of the NHL season you get Center Ice free.

One thing that can be said for Burrows, he usually waits until later in the game before pissing off the other team for whatever reason. In fact, if the Canucks are winning he's pretty benign- it's when they need a kick in the ass that he lives up to his reputation.

Looking forward to the game tonight, should be a battle. Good luck folks.

I don't understand, I have TSN2. It comes with the same package as TSN. From Bell anyway.

I am looking forward to this game. Win this one in front of the home crowd. I don't suspect we will get many chances on even strength. The PP will be CRUCIAL to victory.

Bell has TSN and Sportsnet on their basic package

I have Rogers and they only give you Sportsnet on their basic package. You have to pay more to get the package that includes TSN. And if you want TSN2 you have to pay even more to get the package that has TSN2.

Rogers sucks
