Yes they do. But it's a limited selection on names. I'm not shure on the price.

Quite the coincidence that I'm making my first trip to Arizona the year the Coyotes and Pirates affiliate but anyway...

My wife and I will be in Prescott for 2 and 1/2 days. We're definitely going to the Grand Canyon of course.

Is there anything else that is a MUST visit when going to your state? Thanks.

Lots of must visits, but the North Rim Grand Canyon is an absolute jewel of the state and the drive to get there is one of the most beautiful in the country. Sedona is incredible and the 89A is one of the most entertaining and beautiful drives around. Flagstaff and NAU are beautiful this time of year with fall color changes right around the corner.

Given your timetable, I am assuming you will not be venturing into the southern or eastern portions of the state, so there is no point in going into details about that.

What kind of temperature and weather could be expected in that part of the state around Thanksgiving? How about in the southern portion of the state?

In Flagstaff and the south rim the highs are in the low 50's and the lows are in the 20's. The North Rim (if it is still open)will be about 3 degrees colder. The Verde Valley will be 5-10 degrees warmer. The southern part of the state will have highs in the 60's or 70's and lows in the 30's or 40's

What are the typical early October temps around Sedona and the Grand Canyon? Someone told me to pack some warm stuff and I laughed at them. I'm wearing shorts for anything over 40.

Looking to buy 4 tickets to the Cowboys game, I will be in town with my family none of whom have ever been to a NFL game.

A link to the cards website.

You can also look around on stubhub just like you would for hockey tickets. The cards are sold out for the season I believe, and games against the Cowboys are usually difficult to get into. Best of luck.

There will be plenty of 2nd hand tickets available if they keep losing.

The Steelers and Cowboys fans often outnumber the Cardinals fans at the games here and tickets will be very high in demand. If there are tickets to be brought other than at the gate the who will buy em will pay a premium to do so regardless of how the Cardinals are doing this season. Plus most Cardinals fans are hoping to see a tank the rest of the season for a shot at Andrew Luck.

So, a couple friends and I will be going to the habs-yotes games in november and we would like to go to a driving range that looks like desert. I looked at the link in the first page (http://www.golfnow.com/phoenix) but they seem to be super cassy/expensive golf course.

Since we all suck, we would only want to go to a driving range and shoot at some balls. It would be perfect if it was in some sort of desert looking place.

We would be sleeping in Glendale.

Any ideas?

Not aware of any driving ranges that let you shoot at the balls. I guess you could just take some balls out in the desert west of the arena and fire away.

I can't think of a desert range on the west side. This place is really close to the arena and there is desert behind the screens. http://www.valleygolfcenteraz.com/home/

How to find anything, ever

http://www.google.com/maps?q=driving...ing+range&z=12

1.) Google Maps
2.) Zoom to area you want to search
3.) Type keyword into map
4.) ???
5.) Profit

I don't know of any pure dirt driving ranges, as it would be hard to recover the balls without manually raking them in. Any public golf course should suffice. Only course I can vouch for is ASU's Karsten which is a 30 minute drive from Glendale.

Hey Seb

When its not the Summer time in AZ things become more and more expensive since the demand to be here and do things in AZ is high. The places for golfing or just practicing the golf swing will go up as well.

Ideally the place to go golfing here tend to be more away from the Inner city part so others can experience that true desert setting while golfing. Scottsdale is very well known for it the most, especially where the Waste Management Open is held.

BTW will Jee also join you as well as you get a chance to the match up vs the Canadiens?

Well, there's a link for Nightclubs, but what about Bars? Irish pubs, Western pubs? That would be fun!

And what about microbreweries/brewpubs? I'm a big fan of them and would love to bring back a couple bottles home for my wall.

Irish Pubs
McFaddens(Right next to the hockey arena) is popular. So is Casey's in Tempe
http://phoenix.about.com/od/foodandd.../IrishPubs.htm

Western "Cowboy" Pubs
http://www.azcentral.com/ent/nightli...oybars-CR.html

Microbrew
Gordon Biresh and Nibmus(in Tucson) are the ones I know I quite popular
http://www.beer100.com/brewpubs_a_to_k/arizona.htm

Also some of the supermarkets here do carry some the local mircobrews ie Nimbus.

Other stuff for you to know. Glendale, Scottsdale Downtown Phoenix, Mill Ave in Tempe are usually the more common hot spots in the Valley of the Sun for nightlife and such.

Public trasportation is not that great here unless you plan to do everything within 5 to 10 minutes of each other. Best bet is to rent a car to get around.

Man, that site has an old list for microbrews. This is way more current and betterer.

http://www.azbrewguild.com/

Try Sunup brewing in Phoenix. Their red is pretty good. If you make it to Flagstaff, you must try Flagstaff Brewery if they have their baba ganoush IPA. In my opinion, the best beer in Arizona.
