The ceremony was unbearably long. When it began, I noticed a snail crawling away from my building into the west. By the time it ended, the same snail was coming in from the east laden with tiny souvenirs it had gathered on it's journey around the globe. It asked me if the puck had finally dropped yet, but I couldn't respond because I had aged to the point of hopeless senility.

For some reason I can't stop laughing at this.

From CSKA's interview thread:

Umm kind of funny but not sure Bryz should advertise his manhood in that light...

Quote:
Ilya Bryzgalov was reciting lines of dialogue from Scarface.

Naturally, The Bryz was playing the lead role of Tony Montana.

“Say hello to my little friend,” Bryzgalov whined in his best accent, complete with X-rated gestures.

Is it just me or is this the most personality this team has shown since 2007-08?

And I'm not just talking about Bryz. Jagr seems pretty awesome, Pronger seems more accessible, and Giroux and vanRiemsdyk have more personality as opposed to Richards' and Carter's young, soon-to-be-awesome teammates.

I just get the feeling that this team has a better atmosphere around it than we've had in a while.

"Culture change."

A lot of it probably has to do with the fact that there are new players actually willing to speak to the media. Give it time, I'm sure they'll poison the well somehow.

I don't think this cast is that petty...Pronger obviously gives it back and is not going to bicker in a childish manner with the media via Twitter....

Looks like so far G and Jagr as well as Talbot and even Hartnell seem to be interviewed the most. All of them are amiable. At worst if the media crosses the line in some manner during rough patches they might get some "no comments" but I don't think we'll see as much acrimony.

It depends on who they decide to scapegoat and how they decide to do it, most likely.

As per "Sport-Express.ru", Bryzgalov was teasing Jagr ater the Jersey game asking him in Russian: "Have I earned a day- off yet?" apparently, Jagr refused to answer

The interview they showed with him last night during Post Game Live was awesome. At one point he referred to Jagr, Giroux, and JVR as "big masters of the puck."

I think it's clear that they now need to be known as the BMP line.

I am all for that name catching on. Except I kinda like it dragged out and not shortened to BMP. Big Masters of the Puck Line, come on that's freakin' perfect!

I met Bryz over summer at a free signing, and I got him to complain about Canada being cold and rainy more. He hates it so much lol.

Bryz is a lover not a fighter....at least that is what he strikes me as being since he's more philosophical.

Anyway..this thread I think should become a sticky b/c we all know we will be seeing many more Bryzims...
