Thanks for posting this, I was wondering how he'd done the past 2 games. I hope people who get to watch him play stop by from time to time to provide their thoughts.

Better than Russian Jesus? Get real.

But really I might be inclined to agree with you, this kid could really be something special.

I'd love nothing better than for us to argue about this right up until they both get invited to the HOF.

Call me crazy, but Schwartz has Patrick Kane in him...he jusst went to the NCAA route with his bro and didn't beat up the leagues in teh WHL like some scouts would have prefered.

Tesink's killing it with SNB. QMJHL 3rd star of the week + the only players outscoring him are Phillips + Huberdeau. Steal at the position you got him. He's getting top 6 minutes now and he's showing what he's worth.

Ty Rattie has 7gp 6g + 5a = 11pts. Decent pace thus far. Hope he can break 100 this season. Don't really get a chance to watch him. Anyone with some insight it would be great if someone could give a little scouting report if possible.

Edit: if he stays at his current pace and plays a full season(72 games) he will score 113pts!

2010 2nd round pick Sebastian Wannstrom is off to a very slow start. He started the season with a lower body injury, I believe it was his foot but I do not know exactly what was wrong with it. He was getting no ice time and was a healthy scratch with Brynas mens team so he has been sent down to the junior team where he has 1 goal and 1 assist in 3 games. I believe he is too old to participate in the World Junior Tournament so I really hope he starts making significant progress over the season if he thinks he will be ready to play top 9 role in Peoria next season.

Thought at the time we should have taken Jarnkrok and still do.

Wannstrom is right up there with Scott Jackson (instead of Paul Stasny). No one will ever be able to figure out the Wannstrom pick.

I thought he looked pretty good at the WJC's.

Also, a lot of useless players were drafted before Stastny, and by teams with good scouting.

You're right - always easy to spot the real talent five years after a draft.

Still tho. The Blues seem to love drafting ex-Blues son's. I'm surprised they passed up on him.

What other Blue's sons have they drafted. Off the top of my head McRae is the only one I can think of.
