Even though I'm obviously not even close to being happy with his effort/production last season, I seriously hope Gomez doesn't get booed during the player introductions. Nobody, no matter how much they sucked, deserves that IMO.

Agreed. There will be a few I'm sure but hopefully they'll be drowned out.

I guess a should graduate already and earn that 6 figure salary so I can afford season tickets
With 2500+ people on the waiting list and a turnover of something like 0.5% you need a lot more than just money to get some season tickets.

Agreed. I cringed during the Sens home opener when they booed Gonchar. Even though he really is terrible and I should take joy in the Sens' misfortune, I've just never been on board with a fanbase booing its own players (individually I mean, if you want to boo the team when they're losing 6-0 at home, be my guest).

Booing doesn't make anyone on the home team play better. As for visitors, it can actually inspire them.

I don't see the point, both are RH shots, more offensive than defensive and pretty inexperienced at the NHL level. I prefer Gill/Subban and Gorges or Yemelin with Diaz plus Gorges or Yemelin with Weber

I actually think that Diaz and Subban would look good together

I know theres alot of you haters out there, but I see alot of potential in Diaz!

I love his handles and movement, he's pretty slick!

Can I have my 5 minutes of gloom?

Something quick. I'll be back to my optimist self.

I just remembered that not long ago, we had Campoli. Which we lost in game 1.

3 men down in 2 games. Who will be injured tonight? The bets are open!!!

/gloomy

Go Habs go!!!

Having 2 RH shots on 1 pairing would be pointless.

I'd be shocked to see that happen, not at the home opener. At least not during the intros. Even the worst boo birds need a period or two to warm up.

You clearly haven't watch the 2011-2012 season games. Maybe you accidentally caught a recording of last season?

Gomez was fine overall.
