That was a really crappy game. We should be better than that.

It's almost like Hedberg knew that Kopitar move was coming.

That was a sick move by Parise. Really deceptive with that quick backhander.

If you can't get anything by a 38-year old backup, you deserve to lose. And Quick was due for a SO loss.

I'll take that point considering we got out played for 50 minutes. First 10 minutes was all us....then...well Europe set in.

I expect a different team against Philly. The Kings seem to play better against better teams.

ye not sure why he didnt, since if he scores, which you expect him to do more often than not, it puts doubt in the keepers head. Maybe Hedberg gets a bit jumpy on Kopis deke and it works if he has already conceded

To be fair, even at 38, Moose is one of the best backups in the league.

Murray is such an idiot. I give up.

He has overplayed Stoll his entire time here, and then when it comes to the one thing he does better than anyone else in the league he doesn't even use him in it. There is no reason Stoll should ever not be the first Kings shootout choice.

It would be like being down a run in the bottom of the 9th, 2 outs with runners at 2nd and 3rd and you have a .320 hitter on your bench and you bring in the homerun hitter with a .215 avg to pinch hit.

This. It must be Murrays fault because the Kings lacked energy.

Stoll was the third shooter. His name was on the card.

This sucks. I still feel like we got screwed over in Europe. 2 home games wasted. We had to play in Stockholm and then go to Berlin for the next game. Got booed at both games. Played the soonest out of the 4 teams that went over to Europe.

What happened to the shootout magic that the team had? I still think that Marty won the game for his team. We were dominating and then injury. Game gets paused and Devils get momentum and score shortly after. That was the moment the team fell apart.

Also, CANCER AD! BOOOOOOOOOOoooooooo. So many players are coming over from philly so I wanted to bring some of the fan base.

And what good did that do the Kings, he didn't even get a chance to shoot.

Should always have your best guy go first or at the very least second so they are guaranteed to shoot.

Come on, even you can admit that was a coaching blunder.

Yes. Teams take on their coaches demeanor. Lombardi thinks it's a good thing for a "young" team, but it isn't going to get it done with a "contender".

Murray is boring. The Kings are boring. Murray is rigid. The Kings are rigid.

Murray's system is too inflexible and doesn't seem to allow for creativity and flow. How many passes do the Kings miss and how often do they end up bunched up in either zone and can't create separation from their defenders? They make a lot of passes to areas instead of tape-to-tape.

The youth and lack of skill can no longer be a crutch for Murray. The Kings need to show vast improvement by the end of October if they want any chance of a division championship.

6 goals in 3 games. Right in line with past Murray seasons.

After four seasons with so man different players? What is the one constant?

When does it stop being the players and start being the horrible, outdated system?
