Ya, Bulis is OK, but I enjoy the Kurtenbloggers way more. Not only their Cauncks/Hockey coverage...but they are well rounded sports guys, able to talk NFL, CFL, MLB, MLS or UFC. They branch out way more than just a 'Canuck Blog', and I consider myself to be a sports fan, not just a Canucks fan so this appeals to me.
As for who is funnier, that is totally a matter of taste. Personally, I find them hilarious. Could do with less cats though.
This is why I like them too. They talk a lot of Canucks, but also a fair amount of everything else. More-so, you can tell they actually watch those other sports as opposed to guys like Price, Pratt, and Paterson who just spew out questions but do not actually follow them.
oh no, i've got a sneaking suspicion they'll be going to sportsnet.ca. if so, this is a lateral move at best. it may be a pay upgrade but the sportsnet website is awful. sell outs?
At least part of what they wrote is accurate... "cause we aren't qualified ".
GET OFF MY LAWN!
in all seriousness, i'm interested to see where the end up next...big loss for team1040 as they were the fastest growing radio personalities on that station

The way they stated that they'd be around to some guest appearances on 1040 makes me think it has to do with TV. Don't think any radio station would have guests from a competing station.

Yeah because all these sports media types are qualified for anything. Most of them can barely write or report to begin with. And apparently years in the business hasn't resulting in them learning anything either - witness Damien Cox or Steve Simmons.
I like Pass it to Bulis but it's not like PITB was on the radio. Kurtenblog was one of the highlights of 1040 for me.
i would stay up here in DC just to listen to the Kurtenbloggers talk. they were such a treat. I'm going to miss their radio show and the blog.
For canucks: pass it to bulis and canucks army has it covered it very well. But in general sports with a vancouver leaning, no other blog covered it better than KB.
Gotta wish them luck in whatever they are doing, they earned whatever it is.
yeah their target demographic is people who think demography is a word
While it's not a fitting word for that sentence, it most certainly is a word. So you're saying that their target demographic is people who have a wide vocabulary?

KB clearly found a better opportunity, I see no chance the province would fire them, same with team1040, they are arguably the two best guys on the radio.
Just to add more fuel to the Sportsnet/Rogers Radio fire.
- One of the guys saying congrats on the twitter machine was Sportsnet's Dan Murphy. Why would one say congrats unless he had information of a positvive move for the formerly known as Kurtenbloggers?
-Another mention was made Shorty during the Canucks broadcast after the LaPierre 'fight', saying that they must be angry about the Kurtenbloggers ceasing to exist. He could just be a fan too...but seemed strange that is was mentioned.
