Acting as been mediocre at best, unless they were instructed to act like robots, then they're doing a damn good job.

Is anybody else hooked on this show?

Not the greatest TV you'll ever see but the acting is solid and I definitely like the idea behind it. It distances itself from other crime-dramas on television whilst not setting out to be too radically different.

Michael Emerson and Jim Caviezel are perfect in their roles, IMO. Ratings are pretty strong as well last time I checked.

I enjoy the show. I like that each week you don't know whether the "person of interest" is going to be a good guy or a bad guy. There was another show last year, The Whole Truth, that had a similar premise. Sadly, they executed the premise horribly and the show was atrocious. I'm glad this show got it right.

As for the ratings, they are decent. If it was on NBC it would be considered a home run, haha. On CBS, though, it's ratings aren't particularly impressive. It skews fairly old, so I could envision them keeping it, but moving it to Fridays to pair with Blue Bloods.

Nope.

I got my mom hooked on it too

It gets better each week. Glad I'm sticking with it - the overarching plot is falling into place now.

Watched the first 2 episodes so far. I like the show thus far but what's up with all the the gun shot wounds to the leg and Mr. Finch's limp? Wondering if there is a connection.

Another great episode. Too bad there aren't many fans of this show on HF...

I'm a fan. Sometimes the show is a little too much though when he can take out an entire room of guys by himself. Reminds me of the movie Taken.

I had serious doubts about this show, mainly because everything from producer to writer to actors seemed too good to be true. But I'm on the 5th episode and I think this show is amazing. Never seen it myself, but I hear a lot of "24" comparisons.

Caviezel really suits the "Reese" character. Great way to end last night's episode.

Love this show. It's the best show on Network TV, imo. It reminds me alot of 24 and Alias, but with better acting and chessier endings.

I haven't watched this week yet (hockey > *).

But good to hear it's keeping up.

Yep, love this show. Needs to have a central storyline going instead of just "here's the SSN the machine popped out today", maybe season 2 will get meatier

Best episode this season, imo.

Spoil:
I really didn't expect the old man to be involved. Finch completely destroyed him during the restaurant scene.

Who do you guys think Elias is? I'm thinking that it's Reese but that would be too obvious, no?

Yeah, my favorite series right now in TV. Wondering why there isn't more buzz about this show here at HF.

Haha. When somebody asked me about the show before this season, I couldn't remember anything about it and just sold the person on the show by saying that Benjamin Linus and Jesus are in it.

Best episode yet last night. Really good.

I spotted the twist this week coming a mile away, but the show is still one of the better offerings on network TV. It's a shame it's not on HBO or Showtime; the PG-13 filter hurts portraying of the criminal elements.
