I do agree that Brodziak seems to be one of the better players on the ice through the handful of games to this point. In fairness, his game, role on the team, and expectations of him is a pretty seamless transition with a new coaching staff. While a lot of players have other kinks they're trying to sort through with the added pressure of a more higher end role.

To add to Jarick's point about the defense, not having a player back there who can gain possession and cull an offensive attack hurts this team. What we see is the team get hemmed in the zone and start foolishly ringing the puck around the boards at the slightest continued pressure. Just creates more turnovers and gets players out of position.
