This doesn't sound good. I hope some of this info is incorrect.
One of Beaulieu's master strokes this summer was adding Connor Murphy, a top Phoenix Coyotes prospect, to fortify a leaky defence, but he hurt his knee at USA Hockey's world junior development camp and required surgery.
"We miss him," B eaulieu said. "He's a first-round NHL pick. How could you not?
"We think he can start skating again in two weeks, but there's a long rehab process (several months) in place before he can return to play for us."
I was reviewing the Niagara Ice Dogs and it seems that Visentin has gotten hurt. He's been out the last couple games and I can't quite find out what happened or how long he'll be out.

No idea. Jokerit won 3-0 so he didn't get any minuses but wasn't on the ice for any goals for either. Played 7,14 minutes, no shots. Due to injuries, he's playing today as well.

who's coaching Jokerit, these days? Dave Tippettenen?
Ruuttu played 8,16 against HIFK on Wednesday, no shots, minuses or penalties. In the line-up today again.
I know it's the Finnish league and all, but how is he supposed to develop with less than 10 minutes a game? It's not like we drafted him to be a grinder.

Around 8-10 minutes is actually pretty god, Jokerit roll their lines fairly evenly. Besides, Ruuttu's better known as a two-way forward than as a scoring forward so he's easier to put in the 3rd/4th line.
By the way, he scored his first SM-liiga goal today.
Nice goal. Is Jokerit considered to be one of the better teams this year? Does he stand out among his peers at all?
They were projected to be 1st - 2nd in the whole league and they are really stacked this year. Right now he's playing only about 8-10 min/game but from what I've seen he's played well. I've only seen highlights and 1 whole game so I'm not the best one to say. But it's not easy for an 18-year old to really stand out on Jokerit this year

They are widely considered one of the favorites. They have a decent forward squad, above average defense, possibly the best system for 5 v5 play, lacking special teams, good goalies.
