Boston wasn't so easily beatable last year. Anytime you have a goaltender like Thomas, a 30 minute a night dominant defenseman in Chara, and the solid team game that they have. They are not easily beatable.

Really juiced about this game. I'd like to see Bob get the start, that way it's my two favorite goalies against one another.

Go flyers.

If Malkin and Crosby stay healthy they are a better team. But only if!

in my opinion:

Pittsburgh (if healthy)
Boston
Washington

Flyers, Buffalo

Pittsburgh, Tampa, Rangers

But only if our flyers reach their potential.... Its not automatic cause we are very young and without a lot of experience!

Easily beatable in a sense that, they can be beaten. Just because they look good on paper, I dont think means they are top 4 in the East. **** happens. Players get hurt and everything changes. Honestly, Im not too scared of them compared to other teams like the Caps. I think Boston and Buffalo can be beaten.

On thing that is weird is how Pittsburgh somehow does good without Crosby and Malkin. Honestly, if you look at their roster, nothing is really "scary", but they win games.

Boston wasn't "easily beatable," but before they swept the Flyers, Montreal had them in overtime of Game 7. That just proves how close together everyone is. A few small things can be one major thing.

Every team is in that same boat. And every team can be beaten. But that doesn't mean that it's easily done.

Then just take out easily. They were beatable. I didnt mean "easily beatable" in the literal context of easily can beat them. I said "easily beatable" in context of being able to beat them.

Kevin Westgarth will play tonight, which is good for us because he doesn't have anyone to fight...

I've been to many games at The Well but I have never brought a camera in.

My camera has this lense: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Nikon+-+...&skuId=8565368

Do you think they'll actually care?

Yeah right, his Conn Smythe Trophy was a birthday present.
Who cares if he's captain - Roy has no balls, is soft and rarely healthy, played half the season last year and hasn't done crap in the playoffs since 2006. They added Leino at 2x what he's worth, Regher is average and Erhoff is good but how does this make them so good?

The Sabres pushed "us" around last season? It looked to me like the Flyers would have won that series 4-0 easily if their goaltending didn't completely suck.

Brad Richards - where has he been since Tampa? Just another high-priced FA for the Rangers destined to come up short.

I'm not saying the Flyers are great but I just don't see how these two NY teams are so feared by Flyers fans.

Website says they dont allow longer than a 100mm lense and that is twice that.. So depends on who you go to probably.. Just have a chick put it in her pocketbook or omething

Richards last two seasons:

91 points in 80 games
77 points in 72 games

That's what he's done since leaving Tampa. Which is better then any Flyers forward has done in recent memory.

Roy has only had two seasons below 70 games played and if you exclude his rookie season then last season was his only injury filled season. How the hell does that describe a "rarely healthy" person? Seriously, do you even know what you're talking about?

You've also yet to describe what the hell "he has no balls" means. His last four seasons:

81 points in 78 games
70 points in 82 games
69 points in 80 games
35 points in 35 games

If your definition of a "no balls, soft, and rarely healthy player" is a number one center that consistently scores 70 points to PPG and consistently plays 70 games then you're really fricking crazy.

What’s your message to the fans?

“I don’t have a message,” richards said.
not even a little i miss ya? but anyway, definitely seems like hes happy where he is and wants to get passed this. probably cus he was kicked out of his home and it might be a little hard to deal with. anyway, gonna be heading to this game. hoping G and JVR tear it up.

Ummm, where did you get that? Judging by the fact that Richards wasn't capitalized i'm guessing it wasn't from anywhere reputable.

You're right about Buffalo, especially after Kaleta, who has always smelled the worst of them all, left the lineup.

The last two years, Brad Richards was over a point-per-game with an overrated, if not terrible Stars team. He is also a consistent playoff performer provided that his teams get that far. He won't solve all the problems, and there is certainly a pall over Rangers free agents, but he's not the dog you're making him out to be.

I've been with a friend who brought in a camera with that kind of lens, so you should be fine.

It's gonna be so painful watching him play for another team.

Anyways, I don't really consider games in October a "statement game" so if they win that's great, but if they lose it's whatever.

Oh and I think it's stupid if the fans boo him tonight; that MF'er gave his heart and soul to this organization he deserves better than that.

whats all this talk about us not being the best team in the east. even if we arent the attitude of the fans needs to be that we are.

as for richie, i hope he does as well as he can without helping his team win

Kings fans who hate the Flyers make no sense to me.

I hope the fans give Richards the reception he deserves.
