Martin Brodeur is out for New Jersey tonight. Former Thrasher favorite Johan "The Moose" Hedberg will start in net for the Devils with Kevin Kincaid called up this morning from Albany to back him up.
I really really really hope Hornqvist and Halischuk swap places.
I don't...if Hornqvist plays...he'll allow that O'Reilly line to play as a scoring line. If not...I really like and look forward to the combination of Geoffrion and Smith with Halischuk trying to reunite some of that Badger magic and adding a ball of energy to the pair with Matty Hustle...

As am I. Geoffrion getting some legitimate icetime and linemates. Should be a fun line to watch with their speed. I don't mind Hornqvist on that third line. A nice combination of skill and sandpaper. Game day baby! Wooo!
Brodeur is questionable, but I don't expect him to play. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing, but I think that most people would agree that any time you take a first ballot HOFer out of the other team's line up it's probably a good thing.

I've been looking forward to this game since we went down 3-0 Thursday. Although I do think this team has a very weak feel to it (at least with all the injuries), I am confident that Thursday was just a good ole stinker that happens a few times a year, one of ours just happened to be very early on. I watched the Devils against the Kings off and on Thursday when our game hadn't started yet/intermissions and they looked pretty solid defensively against a very good LA offense.
Although.....the injury Brodeur suffered in that game will keep him out tonight so we need to find any kind of momentum we can and attack Hedberg early and often.
I think the sharks were already circling for this GDT before it was claimed. No big deal in my opinion. I was going to do it if nothing had been posted by 3pm.
Of course, if The Curse of the Mods Created GDTs returns then I expect you to display more discretion.

I was wondering what the ticket situation would be like with UT, Vandy, Alabama, Florida/Auburn all playing in the same general time frame, but then again that's just a yearly issue we deal with in the fall.
