You could look at it that way, but close loses can mask problems. You can right off a 2-1 loss to a bad bounce when in reality was losing 1 on 1 battles that results in a goal against. Losing close games is the sign of a team that is lacking desire. The B's this year are the hunted not the hunter, they must be better than last year to stay where they are that can be a tough task.

Gonna have to take some time and tabulate the Bruins record in games they had at least 1 fight last year. I think they were 10-4 in games in which Thornton fought but the prior year they were around .500.

I think I looked last year and it wasn't overly great...I could be mistaken though.

Should we trade Mcquaid - he is a bit of a clutz and gets injured too often?
Also why are we playing so poorly to start the season? Do these guys no longer want to win?
