Kyle Turris?

Just speculation, but would he be a fit here?

I'd love to trade for Turris. I'd trade Santo for him.

Eh, I wouldn't mind his talent, but, not his attitude.

First he asks for a crazy high salary, then now says he wants out from Tippett's style of play?

IMO he wants to play in a hockey market, or get paid a lot, I'll pass.

Unless I've missed some quotes or something, that is all just speculation. As far as I know, Turris has kept his mouth shut like he should, while the GM has been the one who has shown possible attitude problems with his media outburst.

Is there actually any speculation of him coming here or is it just that he could be leaving the Coyotes?

You are right, mostly just speculation/rumors.

Just speculation of him leaving Phoneix, but I was wondering if anyone thinks he'd work here

i dont feel like Turris would fit here, simply because we are already such a deep team, and are bringing up so much talent... trading for a guy who is holding out and who has tons of potential, but thats all, could be a step backwards.

ya the way I see it, its not worth the risk of giving up assets for someone with that attitude. we thought bouwmeester was bad cuz he didnt want to be here, turris is taking it one step further

I think it was Dreger who said yesterday that the Yotes are not going to trade Turris at all and they are prepared to have him sit out the entire year.

Turris is a skilled guy but tbh, he hasn't really done much at the NHL level so far. I wouldn't trade for him, his value is too high and Phoenix will be expecting too much for him.

I agree that the Coyotes would want a big return and Turris doesn't warrant that because he hasn't done much to date.

I agree with this. Saw him plenty when he played on the Rampage and he looks good as a prospective case, but he still has so much to work on. Plus like you mention any team that trade for him would have to probably give up a pretty penny, then not only will he be behind cause he missed camp and now part of the season, but he'd also have to get used to the team chemistry and everything else. Needless to say, just not a good case for the kid.
