No denying it was a bad night for Price. But look on the + side. Our offensive is slowly shifting into higher gears. Was a fun game to watch. But man, we need to be able to close these games. I don't want a record like 3-10-2 or something like that.
Could Toronto have better team ?

Habs fan, Avs fan here to say thanks for an eventful game. Seemed both teams were having similar issues, when one teams offense got rolling the other teams defense crumbled. Gotta say, your team is way more gritty then people give you credit for, it seems everyone is chipping in with the hits. Good luck the rest of the season, hopefully you guys get some of your D back (even though, as a Nordiques fan, I should be cheering against that =b).

Weber and Emelin were both very good. Gorges is as good as ever.
I like Diaz but didn't think he was very good for most of the game.
Gill is Gill.
Still waiting for Subban and Price to start playing like they should.

c'mon, can't blame this loss on the D. CP was out to lunch on 3 of the goals. Valiant effort by the team down the tubes.

Price was not impressive tonight. But, people need to calm down.

Calling him a joke, comparing him to Jose Theodore? The guy had an off night. But by no means does that justify us insulting him. He's on most of the time, but tonight wasn't his night.

He's saved us so many times, without any complaints, but in a single game, were back to our 2009-2010 form of bashing him. It's not even annoying anymore, it's just sad.

Other than that, team showed a lot of good things, but we need Markov back ASAP.

See that save Reimer made to give them the win?

We just needed Price to make one of those saves....

One thing I'm noticing about a lot of the goals on Carey this season, is the fact he is being pushed into the net by opposing players.

Any time he's been run. There's been no retaliation.
It's too easy to, A) get to our crease B) Stay in the crease and C) run Price.

We've gotta claim our territory in front of Price and let people know, at all costs, you do not touch him. Price had to take matters into his own hands and will have to again.

Didn't watch much of this game but checking the boxscore I see DD had the most total ice time amongst all Habs forwards tonight.. JM sure loves playing this guy..

Well Price sucked tonight lol. Besides that, much better effort and I liked the lines JM put togheter tonight. HOPEFULLY he won't change them... Diaz/Yemelin look more and more solid.

Not in Montreal...

We outshot other teams 3 times this year... 3 loses
We got outshot once... 1 win

Our blueline is inexperienced, as a majority.. they aren't getting support because it looks like the team philosophy is to shoot it out of our end at all costs.

Pacioretty, Emelin, Cole, Eller were pretty good!

Is it me or when Emelin is hitting somebody, it looks solid everytime!?

the shootout is such a BS part of the game. We did outplay the avs, and then a shootout comes along and ruins the game. Shootout=get more money scheme by the NHL to get more fans.

Lets look at the positives here:

-We completely outplayed them
-We still got a point out of it
-Max looked terrific out there
-We're all still good friends

The best part of the game was the 3rd period. Anyhow Price needs to be better. That was a disappointment.

Montreal is getting a lot of shots in their games, but no traffic in front for screens or rebounds means no goals.

Need more net presence, and Gionta the smallest guy is the one there all the time and look what happened.
Look at Colorados fifth goal. Price was backed in by an Avalanche to his goal line because of that net presence. Montreal needs to do the same.

Chill guys. We don't win the Stanley Cup right now and we don't make the playoffs right now. It wasn't a perfect game but it was alright!

i don't understand your point :

Subban : 25.41 32 shifts
but
Weber : 21.01
Gorges : 23.09
Gill : 20.25
Diaz : 21.58 34 shifts with only 3 NHL games under the belt !

Maybe Subban had simply another bad game ? plain and simple !

This is typical Mtl, remember when we pushed Roy out of town??

We adore our superstars here, but we love to criticize him as well. I don't really understand why fans react that way.

Price and PK are our only two superstar potential players, but whenever they have a bad game, they will be crapped on a ton.
