Look like Cal got in Laakso's way to try to move the puck foward. We haven't looked good.

I notice that a lot of guys are coming in to finish their checks.... when the puck already headed out the zone.

Craig Smith with 6:30 thus far. Trotz rule for rookies #8934720: If no points in previous game, rookie shall head straight to the dog house.

Thats what I cant stand about Trotz... He took him off that line after 1 game. A game that no one played good in except for Wilson imo.

We look ****** right now. Trotz needs to steam off some words this tv timeout

I hate when we play 3 on 5 in the o-zone, with the D backing off early.

Better pressure now. A couple hooks/holds go uncalled. Ridiculous.

O'Reilly is our weakest forward right now.

If our lines could be represented by animals, all of the defensive lines would be bears, the goalies would be elephants, and our offensive lines would be all tadpoles.

Preds look awful to start this year. We need Fisher and Erat back, or could use a trade for an actual scorer. Not liking what im seeing

I thought our defense was supposed to be a strong point? Blum has not looked good in a few games. Weber takes terrible penalties. Our 3rd pair is working out growing pains.. Even our forwards look lost in the defensive zone.

It's hard to guage the Devils offense honestly. We just can't finish our chances for whatever reason. Rinne is a beast in net, so that might have something to do with it. But yea, I wish you guys well.

Dissapointing loss even though we got one point. When the Devils figured out we only have one line they shut us down and the one line that was scoring Trotz moved it around and made that line slow down. O'Reilly and Hornqvist are invisible. O'Reilly fanned on sure goal. That third period was just awful what happened well onto the road again and we need some offense. Rinne again was outstanding

With all of the issues this team is still 2-1-1. The big thing is to get as many points as possible and work now towards post season seeding. It doesn't need to be pretty, and things aren't right now, but I'd much rather have this start to the season than what Columbus, Winnipeg, Calgary or Ottawa have so far.

Deep breath ... we got a point against a good team. Move on, and play a solid game at Edmonton ( a guy can hope, right?).
