Didn't Hale have a good camp? Couldnt you call him up? I was watching the game on TSN tonight, and McGuire was constantly ripping Paul Martin. Dont know how he's been all season, but obviously tonight wasnt his best game.

[SCENE: The Colorado Avalanche dressing room. Bob Boughner, clad in his customary navy blue suit he wears in the press box each night, enters a barren dressing room.]

BOUGHNER: "Dust in the wind... all we are is dust in the wind..."

He'd have to clear waiver to come back now

I don't know what Kaspar makes to be honest, I think its almost 3 million?.... but the Rangers could take some salary back I'm sure. I don't know who that would be.

Rachunek would have to clear waivers, but I think Rachunek for Suglobov would be a great trade for these rivals. Suggy would be our # 1 center prospect that we lack.

Dear Devils Fans:

While your team is on the downslope (obviously), your club is still going to make the playoffs. I understand you all have high expectations, but let's not forget one thing ... your franchise in the last 10 years or so was one Art Ross trophy winner/nominee away from being called a 'Dynasty' very likely. You have been very spoiled, particularly on defense with a top 5 defensive corps for like, 15 years or something crazy.

This is what it's like to have a middle of the road team. All I can say is: Hang on!!!

Oh, and regarding the defensemen ... maybe try to pry Pronger off the ailing Oilers (fish with Elias and/or Kozlov, McGillis or White, and kids)? Just an idea.

The Oilers definitely aren't going to be moving Pronger as he's been one of two defencemen on the Oilers that has played well this season. Pronger has been a rock on the backend, he's playing near 30 minutes/game and he's been Edmonton's best player by far in this young season. The Oilers will be looking to add a top four defenceman if anything, not deal one away...

I haven't seen him play much, but I believe Suglobov is a RW.
