Honestly, getting either Backlund or Bmo back for the top line, and reuniting the OMG line could be enough to really see this team get back in gear.

For now, Horak on the top line, bring back OMG

Still so mentally fragile. The pattern for this team is consistently come out strong -> let up -> get lit up -> make a push near the end that's too little too late. The Montreal game was the exception where we came out weak -> Montreal let up -> score several unanswered goals. A veteran team shouldn't have to score second to win a game.

But even the Montreal game, they only had one shot in the 3rd period. In my opinion, you never let up. Why just play a neutral game, and allow the other team in your end for the last 20 minutes.
One shot in 20 minutes isn't very good. The shot came with about a minute left in the period too.
Keep firing on all cylinders is what I'd like to say.
You should average 8-10 shots a period. 24 a game.
You can't score if there's no shots on goal.

Another thing, anyone else notice the timing on our line changes has been... terrible? I'm noticing as soon as they get a chance to get on the offensive, they call a change, and they wind up stuck in their own end again.

Definitely. Bad changes seem to be a chronic problem with this team.
