Jeff Carter has hairline fracture in his foot
When things go bad, they always find a new twist to make things just a little bit worse. In the case of the Columbus Blue Jackets, one of their small handful of players being productive is Jeff Carter. With the team struggling to start the year, it only then makes sense that Carter is now injured.

And 3 points in 5 games is fine.

I feel bad for carter, too many folks get on his case when he gets injured, like its his fault when a puck hits his foot causing injury....Typically foot injuries can really cause issues for a long time,so i hope he can get healed up completely so this don't become a career type foot issue....Carter got the bad end of the whole off season trade deal by being sent to Columbus....Hopefully the club can get it going and string a few wins together soon ?

Some players are just injury prone and Carter def fits the bill. I am glad the drama is elsewhere...

If Columbus has some kind of legal recourse I would fight them all the way to the Supreme Court....
Anyway there is like no chance they do considering he passed their physical and was healthy.
The only pre-existing condition carter has is bad luck....

Btw..I posted in a thread during the preseason that Carter had taken a puck to the foot in practice I believe...so it is possible it never was fully ok as they reported at the time..if it was the same foot. Then again he had "two broken feet" at one point as we are all well aware..
