It still looks like our glass stanchions are very close together.

For everyone watching COL @ TOR, check out the spacing of the stanchions at Air Canada Centre, especially on the lower glass. That's what I want us to have.

Their boards don't give as much as our do.

got a text from a buddy whos brother works for the camera crew that walks around the garden during games here is loosely what it said

"my brother joe was at the garden today for training, he said wait until you see the new msg, it is so much different best seats so far are behind the nets in the 300s and 400s, they knocked down all the suites behind the nets all the way up and you can now go and hang out and find a stool like in yankee stadium and watch the game, so you can buy a ticket in the 400s and watch the game from where the old suites used to be and use a bridge to walk across the entire arena, hallways look great too"

Anyone else find out about the tour tomorrow? Talked to my dads friend since our account is under his name and he never got an email either.

that being coupled with the distance of the slab from the floor.... its several floors away. so much efficiency and cooling is lost in that distance plus the design/technology improvements

when you have a concrete floor over the actual piping and chilling, if you have any issues with the piping underneath or you want to update anything you cannot just hit it from underneath. you need to jackup the hole floor to get access to it and then obviously lay a new floor on top. i dont know how dated the old floor was but i would GUESS that they only relied on a surface infrared sensor for temps. the new floor will give them the opportunity to install a slab temp snsor into the new floor. the combination of these two sensors in invaluable. also im hoping they are using RO water technology in the new plant if they werent already. it will only help things there

So can somebody summarize what exactly:

1) They did to MSG between April and the opener
2) What they will do to MSG during the season
3) Projects and time frames from end of '12 to completion?

1. Lower bowl and concourses completely redone. West Balcony added where suites were on 8th Ave side of arena. 300's goal seats removed and replaced with new seats above luxury boxes. This will be part of new upper bowl. Event level suites as well as Delta Sky 360 club added.

2. Nothing major outside of temporarily shutting things done to prepare for work during summer.

3. Next summer - Upper bowl and 8th floor concourse also completely redone. Madison suites (mid level suites) added.

Summer of 2013 - Chase bridges added as well as a fan deck. Lobby completely redone. New Gardenvision scoreboard.

Garden suites (9th floor suites) are also being remodeled but I can't remember if that's next summer or the summer after.

I went before. Delta Club looks amazing. Really wish I'd have access to it. Lot of leg room in the new seats. Concourses look GREAT. Lot of room, and the city view is kinda cool. It was said the new dining options (the brand name ones) would be ready in November, but posters up said they won't be ready until mid-December. The only thing that disappointed me was that the team store looked small...I couldn't look around it though so maybe it'll be better then. Overall the place looks great. Excited to explore the rest of the arena.

Haha sorry bro, was only 4 people on our little tour so it would've been pretty obvious. Also..if they have one of these again, just call your rep and see if you could go. I have a 10 game plan in the 200s and my rep just showed us around. Free hor'deurves and drinks too (alcohol included). Was shocked, treated like a suit .

Gross has about 6 pics on his twitter. IDK WHY THE BASKETBALL COURT IS DOWN, what a waste. Regardless, it looks pretty cool. Want to see some more concourse pics and this west balcony, but i will check out every nook and cranny next thursday. I plan on doing a lap around each level lol.

I spoke to my rep today and I have a block of tickets from mid-November to January missing because of possible construction in my section (405) during that time. Has anyone heard anything similar?

Okay they need to update that knicks logo. They don't wear black anymore.

Heres the closest updated seating chart I found...no new hockey ones yet. But here we see the west balcony isn't called the 500s. From the pics gross put, the west balcony is pretty cool. I wonder how if they will ever offer those as season tickets.
