Getting outshot 12-4 pretty much sums up the season so far.

Could be why he looked pissed at the end of the period.

Both of Smith's goals were right at the net. I thought he was going to turn into your version of Tomas Holmstrom. I bet he would not have missed on the rebound that SK did not handle.

This kid should be on your #1 pp and banging in rebounds.

On an unrelated note, I'm liking Grats. Hitting, hustling, doing everything we'd ask of him. He won't be playing as much when we get healthy, but he's playing his role nicely.
Yea and its a preds broadcast too, always better than listening to the away announcer homers.

Geoffrion is busting ass out there, i like it. Smith seems to be buying into the system, hes had some nice defensive awareness tonite.

oh yeah trade Weber!

I'm trying really, really hard not to jump on the "sky is falling" bandwagon, but we are getting outshot 12-4 by the team that finished DEAD LAST in the NHL last year......

So does anyone know what Cal O'Reilly brings to the team right now? I would rather have Smithson center Smith and Halischuk, at least he has heart.

Preds were outshot 10-0 at ES in the 1st period. EDM kept Preds to the wall the entire period, had several quality chances off centering feeds, but weren't able to connect due to EDM D controlling sticks and tying up guys.

Gotta play a more straight ahead, North-South game on the initial attack, get the puck and people to the net, make Khabibulin make saves and hopefully create some chances off of rebounds...

Smithson was dead on accurate in the intermission interview. Seeing better D zone structure tonight, but when reads are made, guys are slow to respond. Gotta communicate more amongst ourselves, go hard after loose pucks, finish checks, pin bodies, create turnovers, and go the other way...

Amen. On a related note, I'm about ready to start asking for a callup of Borque or Beck. Put ORLY on waivers and bring one of em up.

Didn't I just say North-South hockey and get pucks to the net? Good things happen when you do that on the rush!!!
