Which isn't logical to me, if we trade Staal we're probably get a similar type of player to James Neal in terms of production and that's not going to make or break the team with both the big guns out.

Kerry Fraser: Cooke interfered with Pavelec, goal shouldn't have counted... Pens should have been assessed penalty.

Pavelec was clearly out of the crease on that goal.

Well you're preaching to the choir. Just saying that's probably what HE'D be all for doing.

The contact, while there, did not impact his ability to get to the puck...refs miss calls all the time. How about the James Neal one? No one mentioned that, did they?

+'s
Fleury

-'s
Offense
Defense

1 goal ain't gonna cut it against the worst team in the league.

I disagree with a lot of your guy's +/-'s. All in all, no one deserved a +. Kunitz, Sullivan, Park, and Dupuis missed too many chances. The offense and defense couldn't hit the net to save their lives. Staal is lost, Letestu isn't far behind him, Lovejoy is a cancer to his defensive pairing, our $9mil 2nd pairing is meh at best, the PP refuses to take a good shot, and we are, by far the worst team in the NHL, AHL, ECHL, and damn near all of juniors, in keeping the puck in our zone during a power play. It is literally NOTHING for the other teams PK to clear it.

Kunitz and Sully have to put the puck in the net. Thats what they are here for. End of story. I don't care if their all star center is gone...in those times it THEIR time to step up and they haven't. You can talk about what they bring besides points all you want...but at the end of the day its goals/points that get you the win. Dupuis and Park's misses chances are ridiculous. Staal is playing like a borderline 3rd/4th line center right now. Again, when you make $4mil and the stars are down...the team is looking for people to step up...one that should be regardless is Staal, and he's not. Letestu looks like he's packing an extra 30-40lbs.

This was an atrocious game and I'm glad its over. Minnesota tonight...lets reverse this garbage play and get a W!
