Sabres is much better on paper and have been proving it. We're doomed.
I think the habs can bounce back and playing a tougher opponent on paper is a great occasion to prove a point to themselves and the fan. Remember this team has proven that they can play up to their opponents so i would not throw this game as an automatic lost. Avoid dumb penalties and i think we have a shot at winning. Go habs Go.
Remember last season how the team played shiet against bottom teams and then just out of the blue comes out strong against the top teams. And we seem to play well against the Sabres, they're a good match-up for us. speed vs speed.
Their forwards tend to open up and this usually leaves some room for some quick transition. I think all we need is Price to come out just a little stronger then the last few games and we should be able to hold them up. Plus, Plekanec usually gets a breakaway or two against them.

This team has a core that has proven they can beat adversity like injuries and controversy and still make the playoffs, a coach that has a proven track record that can take a patched up roster to the playoffs, and one of the top goaltenders in the league. What blinders? I dont think they are an elite team, but they are good. Injury trouble is hurting them right now.
They have good components. Can they be better? Absolutely.
I just dont see a point after 4 games into the season being so pessimistic. If your are a fan, you should support regardless of your displeasure with the current regime.

Habs have a very fast team and our young defensemen are getting alot of experience at the moment.. If we can play for .500 in october, Im confident for the rest of the season..

It should. When the puck rolls all the way back to the goalie and the goalie freezes it in the crease, it counts as a shot. Same if the puck squeaks by the goal line.
