"First of all, we just have to worry about ourselves and how we're going to play. We should make them adjust to us, instead of us adjusting to them - especially at home, where you want to get off to a hot start. We just have to play the game hard and play it with a lot of discipline."
Hoping for an awesome home opener! However wouldn't be surprised if we came out uninspired, no energy, and lose to the Blues. Just saying it's happened a few times now. There is no guarantee anymore St. Louis has some good young players and will give us a game no doubt.
I think this year will be different against teams like the blues and hawks. Last year they killed us with their speed. and while they are still faster than us, we no longer have some of the slow guys from last year (smyth, Zues), and have picked up some speed (Gagne, Richards). So i think the kigns will do a better job of keeping up with these teams.
