Exactly. So take a fighter off the ice, so he can't go around laying the body. FFS, stop being so bitter

Except for one rush, and a shot into Auld's chest, I haven't noticed him much yet.

Sadly for Auld, the team and coaches won't be happy that you were called on to give the starter a break and only made it through one period.

figured that would happen for sure..

Fighting in that scenario IMO is the smart thing to do. Konopka is out looking for a fight and is an idiot. You dont feed him and he's going to take liberties. You have nothing to lose in this situation unless you turn him down and he just goes off like a loose cannon on someone else whether it be instigating a fight with a non fighter, or searching for that big, and likely questionable hit.

And I'm impartial to Rinaldo, Im only defending him because this is getting incredibly annoying.

Any team with motivation is dangerous, don't kid yourself. They're already playing a little harder in this period.

Flyers have had quite a bit of PP time, spaced out a bit, so the first unit seems to be getting most of the time. After the PP goals, 3rd / 4th lines have been on the ice. It seems that Giroux and Jagr have spent most of their minutes on the PP, so I guess JVR has lost a few shifts?

I didn't notice any injury.

What am I bitter about? The Flyers are up 4-0. I disagreed with taking a fight. He should have made him wait until the 3rd period and make Konopka chase him around and look like an idiot.

Nice job by Walker there. No idea what the cause of the fight was, but anytime they can get Neil off the ice in a 4-0 game, I'm happy about it.

I really thought this would be JVR's year.. But he aint getting first unit PP time.. Jagr seems to have hindered JVR's chances to explode this year.. Kind of a similar situation in Anaheim with Selanne taking the top PP minutes while Ryan is grounded on the second unit. Ryan has yet to reach his potential as a result.. Although some could argue Simmonds is taking his spot..

Walker took two minors, and a major. 9 minutes in penalties there.

Good draw, Giroux.
