Went from one of the best games I've seen the Habs play in a while to one of the worst. Totally outworked the Sabres the first 2 periods and came out with nothing to show for it...
We played well, the effort was there for 60 minutes. But.. effort doesnt mean results. It sucks to lose in these situation when you know you should have won.
I have ****ing had it with Gomez. It still baffles me the guy earning 7+ million. He's absolutely useless and he seemed to lose a step from a last year. He's so predictable and his wrist shot is among the NHL's worst.
Gorges played a pretty bad game.
Subban is still invisible out there.
Pacioretty is all heart and is the best player since the beginning of the season.
Diaz is awesome and his confidence is way up. I can't wait 'til Gill's gone.
Emelin is the second best defenseman behind Diaz. Plays physical, passes well. Just needs some PP time, but that JM guy would rather put Plekanec or Kostitsyn at the point.
Cole's been a disappointment so far.
Price is playing scared. I don't know what's the matter with him. His rebound control is **** leakage.
I'd rather play a wide open entertaining game EVERY night and loose then play a boring style. I can't believe this team is 1-3-1 and with 0 wins at home
That empty net goal summarizes game: Sabres were extremely lucky tonight.
Habs dominated all game. If Pleks had his open net goal it's a different game. Price wasn't sharp but the rest of the team was.
Pacioretty had his best game so far, Kostitsyn was awesome, Desharnais played great, Gomez was very solid, PK and Diaz had great games too. Pretty much the whole team was great.
Gorges was having a great game but he made that bone-headed icing and screwed us the game. Price seemed to suffer from getting no shots all game.
Good game nonetheless. Habs destroyed the Sabres. We know what they can do.
