No. There were eight seconds reminaing. That only applies to the last five minutes if a player is assessed an instigator.

I know noodle will have to be waived and someone will claim him but he's no superstar and it would lighten our contract limit to..........

It was a bit weird. Team wins 7-2, you'd think he'd be reasonably happy.
Bob sets a standard for himself that is very hard to obtain. He is also able to separate team success from personal success.

hoefully, he gets another game soon, maybe even back to back..
My guess: Bryz against the Caps, Bob gets his home debut against the Blues.

Nodl kills penalties, is a defensive forward, and doesn't take penalties. That is important when you're going to have a **** disturber who is going to take penalties on your line.

You need . The guy is a decent d-man who stands up for his mates. Every team needs a whipping boy I guess and I know who yours is.

What he did that impressed me was standing up for our rooks when Neil and others were trying cheap shots on them. Well done Matt.

Great to see goals for Couturier and JvR. And Harry Zolnierczyk!

Matt Read was the best player on the ice tonight, I think. Bobrovsky actually made a few nice saves. If only the team had played a full game instead of just 30 minutes or so, he might have gotten a shutout.

Still, good sign to win with 7-2 despite not playing so good, I guess. Even if Ottawa looked like Binghampton tonight.

Boston seems to be frustrated. I can live with it if that continues

I agree with this... Nogoal still has some trade value (late round pick), and Harry Z can do everything nogoal can, has blistering speed, and apparently (based on tonight) knows how to finish chances. Wouldn't mind seeing Nodl gone.

I can't say I'm happy about that massive drop in the quality of play for most of the second and the 3rd. Against a better team that would've lost them the game.

Lavy loves the way Nodl plays. Seriously, just take a step back and let's not talk about ditching Nodl.
