Holy mother of god, what a game!!!!!!! Perfect from start to finish for all players out there. So this is what 60 minutes from this team looks like!
OT, from the back in the white jersey, every time I see Quick my mind sees Kelly Hrudey. I don't in the black ones though. Does anyone else have this??? I think because of course the number, but these jerseys from the back are SO close to the old ones.
He didn't play nearly as much in the 3rd. Game was in hand and the entire D was playing well. Good game to get everyone involved and as many minutes as possible.
He's playing so well though it would have been nice to see him still get more time.

I noticed quick seems to be wearing some sort of black pants rather than team colored socks. I read somewhere that Tim Thomas is doing this as well for better moisture control.

I don't know, the Kings killer Doan already has 7 points. He could go off for 4 goals on Thursday.
Just got back from the game. What a blast! Quick was a brick wall and it was amazing to see how we lit up the Blues considering our history against them. Gagne was also incredibly impressive. Oh and Kopi is collecting points like they are giving them out for free, lol!
I guess we could complain about faceoffs. I'm not sure the Kings won one all night.
It is VERY nice to see what Kopitar is able to do with 2 creative and capable wingers instead of Dustin Brown and Raitis Ivanans. Also on the powerplay goal, last year that puck that Richards put on Brown's tape would have just been passed back to the point for a shinguard assassination. Really liking the added creativity Richards brings.
