to answer the questions..

1) the pictured party deck is the 8th avenue end and is on the 10th floor

2) the 7th ave side will be done for next season and it will look like the same thing and then the bridges will connect the party decks for the 2013-2014 season
are we the 7th ave end or 8th?

This arena is going to be off the chain when finished.

Really starting to love the bridges. It's different. It's unique.

This rendering is so confusing and makes me sick to my stomach nervous of what my 412 row B seats will turn into in the new upper bowl. Will I be under the bridge?, behind the bridge with a blocked view of garden vision...Will i be one of the last rows of the upper bowl? Im assuming we will get our answers in the spring like last year..only for year 2 of the transformation.

looks like most of the new upper bowl will be behind the bridges according to that model

There's absolutely zero chance I sit directly under the bridge.

The bridge looks to be very thin.

Judging by the artist renderings, it looks like the bridge is not in the actual view of the ice/court.
The only view it looks to be blocking is your view directly across the arena.

It won't blocking any part of the court or ice for anyone.

It's just people would like to be able to see the scoreboard and not have people walking above us in our peripheral vision while watching the game.

why put in a brand new $20 to $30 million dollar scoreboard, when the people who need to see it most (the people sitting furthest away from the field of play) can't see it at all?? it makes no sense at all

Yeah, not loving the idea of sitting under the bridge. But I'd still prefer to sit there (in the first 5 or so rows of the upper level) than further up where the bridge will start coming into your field of vision...and ultimately start blocking your view of the scoreboard when you get towards the last rows.

Because they don't give a **** about us. I love how the MSG rep at one of the events tried telling me it's okay because the bridges have video boards on the side.

ive been looking at the virtual seating map for this year.. and i just caught something interesting...

if you click on the sections down low.. such as section 106 row 5, and you scroll thru the benefits, the third benefit is access to the madison concourse.

now thats the new 6th floor concourse correct? if you look at section 225, there is no mention of access to the madison concourse... is the 6th floor now going to be exclusively for club seats?

edit: in fairness, non club lower bowl seats do not have this either

I saw that but I doubt it. How could you tell half the people in the crowd that they can't go on one of the concourses? Prevents people from buying things at the store, getting the brand new foods they've hyped up etc. I really doubt that's true.

Just saw your edit and saw the same thing. They probably threw that in in some sections to make it seem like they're getting even more in those sections lol

lol maybe.

My guess is that they will try to avoid that by limiting alcohol.

that was my worry at first too about people falling off, but when you think about it, if people havent fallen out of the 400's yet then it probably wont happen here. there will probably be plenty of security guards up there as well to prevent this
