CLB gets Bogosian

WPG gets Brassard

A second deal the Jackets could make would be Cody Goloubef and Allen York for Nabokov and a 2nd round pick. Montoya has played solid goal and York or another call up can back him up until DP gets back.

CLB get Nabokov & 2nd
for
Isles get Coloubef & Allen York
I rather just keep Brassard. Bogo is so freaking overrated.

I'd much rather do the Leino trade. Leino may be a square peg trying to fit into a round hole in Buffalo at center. If you can get a true center for him, he's expendable IMO. Of course if you dealt Ennis, you could just bump Leino to the wing, but I still prefer Ennis as a player to Leino. More dynamic, more potential.

Gervais, Gilroy and M.A.B. (even though he's started well) Did someone tell the "Great Stevie Y" that he's supposed to build an NHL defense not an AHL one?

2 of those 3 have been better than expected.

Scott Hartnell for Antoine Vermette straight up.

Gives the Flyers a little bit of cap space and a guy who can regularly win face-offs, a team need, even at the expense of size Hartnell brings. Blue Jackets get one of Carters old linemates back (Flyers use to roll a line of Hartnell-Carter-Lupul) which had pretty good chemistry.

I'd do this.

Something based around Turris and some other decent assets would work just great for Phoenix. For either one of Vermette or Brassard, really.

Any way anything like that makes sense for Columbus?

If another team took Gomez, then Brassard/Vermette would get a better offer that seems more fair. Really any deal with Gomez in it is ****ing lopsided for the habs. Gomez and a first for a 7th? We win...

Unless CBJ can package Brassard for a top pairing D-man he's not even worth trading.

Not necessarily.

A good 2nd pairing defenseman would be worth Brass straight up and would honestly help the CBJ right now.

Also wouldn't mind at all packaging Brassard with someone like Russell or Moore if it means someone who is equal to or better than Tyutin (30-40 point 2-way defensemen who is a 1st/2nd PP tweener).

Tyutin - Wis
Methot - Player X
Clitsome - Savard/Martinek

That'd be a mediocre NHL caliber defense.

would still rather Brass + something + pick/prospect for JayBo...

Id do JayBo and Bourque for Russell, Brassard and a 1st.

Good trade for both teams and addresses their needs.

I'd do that from a CBJ perspective. Dunno what others would say though.

Salary, salary, salary. Juice would probably have to go back to Calgary.

How much do I have to offer to get Kris Russell AND Derick Brassard? Robidas, Glennie, and a 2nd? Mooooooore?

Bite you're tongue sir, I have it on good authority that TBL ownership can and will spend like drunken sailors on a 2 day shore leave

Carl Gunnarsson <----->Carter Ashton + 2012 2nd

a real live NHL d-man for some potential

Good lord no.

If the Lightning want to get anywhere near where they did last year, we will need more than a top 4 d-man.

As A Flames fan I know for certain that Feaster would not entertain such an offer. By making this trade it signifies a full on rebuild which is something Feaster has stated will not happen.

Value wise its probably close considering the amount of salary we are losing, but I would prefer to keep Bouwmeester as he is a huge part of our defence both now and in the future ( IMO ).
