If Cammalleri is back tonight, I probably wouldn't make any huge changes just yet.

Eller-Plekanec-Cole
Pacioretty-Desharnais-Kostitsyn
Cammalleri-Gomez-Gionta
Darche-Engqvist-Moen

If this leads to another loss, then try something new.

I would have switched Eller and Cammalleri. Otherwise no complaints.

I'd like to see us stack two lines. Pacioretty can carry a line on his own. Put him with Gomez to feed him the puck and Darche to crash the net on his 78790708908908 shots and it should work fine.

Cammy - Pleks - Cole
AK - Eller - Gionta
Patches - Gomez - Darche
Moen/DD - DD/Engqvist - Engqvist/Moen

WTF people, Eller on the wing? Screw DD he can't play defense to save his life and there's no way that line would be that dominant on the road if JM doesn't have lines changes priority. Every coach will play their first line agaisnt DD (like Vigneault made the Sedins against DD and JM had to give DD 5min of play).

Man I feel bad for Eller. This kid has so much talent and honestly as a JM supporter this frustrates me. If you're going to play him as a winger please not with Gomez-Gionta.

But as I complain about it somehow I think it'll actually work some how

Never mind I think he's just posting his line up and the as per TSN part isn't associated with the line up (West Islander's post) for a minute I thought it was as per TSN...

Gomez out for awhile?

Cammalleri - Plekanec - Gionta/A.Kosts/Cole
Pacioretty - Desharnais - Cole/A.Kosts/Gionta
Moen - Eller - A.Kosts/Cole/Gionta

I don't understand how we are not winning with our FORWARDS' depth?
Just a matter of time, I guess.

Go Habs Go! (gotta make the playoffs...Montreal is the best city for playoff atmosphere!)

Cammy- Pleks- Darche
MaxPac- Eller- Kost
Cole- DD- Gio

i'd roll with that as the regular strength lines for a bit...

Eller/Kost had some nice chemistry at times last year, and I think it would be worth giving Eller a shot to play in btw our two best wingers so far this year.

Cammy-Pleks should be able to perform together almost regardless of who plays on the other wing, and with Darche you have a guy that will work and a guy that can finish decently. Moen could be another option there.

as much as I liked the DD-Kost-MP line (i actually posted that as a line suggestion the day before they tried it out), I think DD and his playmaking/passing skills is what Cole needs to play with, by giving them Gio on the other wing, as opposed to Darche/Moen, it should help with getting the on the scoresheet and hopefully sparking cole

I'd go with that for 2-3 games, can't be much worse than what we have been producing, and hopefully at least 1 of those lines starts to really gel and starts producing.

With gomez out with an injury the lines this morning were:

Forwards

Brian Gionta - Tomas Plekanec - Michael Cammalleri
Erik Cole - David Desharnais - Max Pacioretty
Andrei Kostitsyn - Lars Eller - Travis Moen
Aaron Palushaj - Andreas Engqvist - Mathieu Darche

Defense

P.K. Subban - Josh Gorges
Hal Gill - Raphael Diaz
Jaroslav Spacek - Alexei Emelin

I am happy to see the Moen eller akost put back together.

AK-Eller-Moen is the best shot the team has of a second matchup line with Gomez out except maybe putting Gionta there instead of Moen and AK and Cole are interchangeable, but at least they have some familarility with eachother.

First line is way too small.

Where is Weber ? I'd rather have him in the line up than Palushaj.

We need a energy guy to spark the team. (like Begin couple years ago)
Maybe a Dorsett/Boll/Clifford/Neil type of guy.

We need some size. I think Peckham has been an healthy scratch.
We could get him for cheap.

He's like 6-2 220 pounds and fights.

Or maybe a guy like Carkner.

I'd like to see Eller and Pacioretty play together. I think they would make a great combo. Two guys with size, skill, and speed. They are not big hitters but they play the body and can lean on the opposing team in the offensive zone. Eller is looking better out there and he has the talent to be something special offensively.

If the Habs keep sucking that way, I wouldnt be surprised to see Gauthier clear the house trading a guy like Cammalleri and buying out Gomez..

Then next year, just imagine the following line-up:

MaxPac Plekanec Yakupov

Gionta Eller A.Kost (resign A.Kost for 2 years at the same money)

Cole Leblanc Kristo

C.Neil Gaustad Conboy

Markov Gorges

Kronwall Subban

Diaz Emelin/Weber

Ok ok Im dreaming here but you have to admit thats a pretty wonderful one..

A line with desharnais, kostitsyn and trotter would get absolutely slaughtered if matched against another team's top line.
