Nope, he's been terrible. Something like winning percentage of 15%, goes down on every shot. Rangers will score at least 5 goals on him.

Erixon deserved every single boo he is going to get. And there's going to be a lot.

I still hope he dominates the game though. I bet he's terrified.

You underestimate our ability to make backups and poor goaltenders look pretty good.

true. EC put up some points on the top line, if he's playing 4th line minutes he's useless. he's useless anyway, Avery>EC IMO

Is Lundqvist a confirmed start? Have to figure they'll play Biron one of these next 3 road games.

Like I said about Labron, Drury, and whatever other player returns to play against their former team (well in Tim's case draft team):

He can wipe the sweat with hundred dollar bills.

If we win this our record goes to:

2-1-2

I don't know about you guys but that seems like a pretty damn good record to start the season considering we've been in Europe and on the road the whole time..

I'd say the record would be ok. However, to be more optimistic I need to see a consistent effort. The team has looked pretty bad for the most of the games and has only showed up in a few periods. It's a problem we have for far too long now.
And while our defense has been ok considering the injuries I'm disappointed in our offense. We're not creating enough chances, not even many shots. And the chemistry is still awful, very few good passing plays, a horrible powerplay and more...

All in all I am not really pleased by the start of this season even though the record might be ok considering the circumstances.

I would argue that he's extremely mature. There's no law that you says you have to sign with the team that drafted you. Most 18 year olds would not have to the stones to stick to their guns. Calgary can suck it. LGR!

Horak is not playing for the Flames tonight.

It still baffles me that he made the team out of juniors. Was he that good or are the Flames that bad?

I'll be there, with my brother who also said he'll sport one of my Ranger jerseys.

Flames are coming off a big win over Edmonton, could be a tough game. (Lundqvist didn't have a good outing here last time )

agreed. starting the first 5 games with only one game in which we did not get a point? I'd take it and run, considering that we have a horrible opening schedule and we are without half of our top four D-men.

Horak wasn't particularly good at anything (besides faceoffs, I suppose) but he was responsible and didn't look out of place. He didn't do much offensively but stayed out of trouble otherwise.

And we missing 2 of our top 3 centremen.

Flames are a sub-par team, starting their backup goalie, all the makings for a Ranger loss.
Prove me wrong fellas, prove me wrong.

I recall a 38 save shutout for one Mike Brodeur in front of a injury-devastated Ottawa Senators team, so yeah, its been know to happen to us.

Karlsson will start and we will make him look like Patrick Roy. Calgary fans will love him again, but really he will still be bad. It will be a funny prank, worth the loss.

I messed up. Didn't get my action in, earlier. Now the lines are dead for a bit until they get redone. I'm assuming because their backup is in. haha
